A WWE star debuted a brand new look in a non-televised match at an NXT live event in Sebring, FL on Friday, July 18.
Last night saw the stars of NXT visit the Alan Jay Arena in Sebring, FL, with several of the brand’s top stars in action on the night.
The main event of the show saw NXT Women’s North American Champion Sol Ruca and her tag team partner ZARIA defeat Fatal Influence’s Fallon Henley & Jazmyn Nyx, who were accompanied by NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne.
While the win over NXT’s top women’s faction is noteworthy, the show also saw ZARIA debut a brand new look.
As captured by a Twitter user in attendance at the show (see below), the Australian star ditched her signature braids in favor of straight hair, a look that she’s not been known for on WWE programming.
While this may have been to potentially test the waters of a change in look on TV, ZARIA confirmed via Twitter that the braids would be sticking around for now due to her struggling to see during her match at the event.
She wrote:
Okay but I couldn’t see a damn thing with my hair like this.
Sorry ladies, the braids have to stay… for now
