WWE Intercontinental Champion Penta has addressed a potential Lucha Brothers reunion with Rey Fenix, following recent teases.
With Penta making his WWE Raw debut in January 2025, and Rey Fenix joining the SmackDown roster that April, there has been a lot of speculation about the Lucha Bros reuniting in WWE.
Following the duo recently teasing a reunion at AAA Rey De Reyes, a new interview has revealed Penta’s latest comments on a Penta-Fenix partnership in WWE.
When asked about the possibility of the Lucha Bros joining forces in WWE, Penta told SA Live:
“I hope soon. The Lucha Bros’ career was amazing. Now my brother is working in different places like SmackDown, Penta is on Raw.
“I’m sure, and I know the people are sure, when the Lucha Bros are together again… I can’t wait.”

Both Penta and Rey Fenix appeared during the March 14 AAA Rey De Reyes show in Puebla, Mexico.
During their promo, the duo teased that they’d be reuniting in the promotion, with Penta hinting that they could join forces ahead of Triplemanía.
The Lucha Brothers were previously set for an AAA reunion in December, with the duo set to face off against Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano.
This bout was officially announced, but ultimately never took place, with Penta suffering an injury during his bout against Solo Sikoa on the November 24 Raw episode, as part of the John Cena “Last Time Is Now” tournament.
Penta currently holds the WWE Intercontinental Championship, which he won from Dominik Mysterio on the March 2 edition of Raw.
