Next week’s episode of WWE NXT is set to go head to head with AEW’s Blood & Guts episode of Dynamite due to taking place on Wednesday instead of Tuesday.
As such, WWE has made sure to stack the show with as much star power as possible to draw eyes away from AEW’s event, including some major names from the main roster.
Here is every confirmed WWE main roster star appearing on next week’s episode of NXT.
CM Punk
Following the main event of tonight’s NXT Halloween Havoc show, which saw Grayson Waller retain his NXT Championship against Tony D’Angelo, a video appeared from CM Punk on the titantron.
In the video, Punk warned Waller that he was coming to NXT next week, where he will face off against Waller for the NXT Championship.
Kelani Jordan’s mystery opponent
The NXT Women’s Championship is also set to be defended on next week’s NXT show.
Following her defence against Wren Sinclair on tonight’s Halloween Havoc event, Kelani Jordan met with Robert Stone backstage, where he told her that she would be defending the title next week on NXT.
Stone noted that Kelani would face a mystery opponent, but had noted before that he had spoken to Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis, meaning Kelani’s challenger will be a name from Raw or SmackDown.
Chad Gable, Dragon Lee & Rey Fenix
After the Vanity Project interfered in Jackson Drake’s North American Championship defence against EK Prosper on this week’s NXT show, they met up with Robert Stone backstage at Halloween Havoc.
Stone told Drake, Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes that they would be in six-man tag team action next week against Chad Gable, Dragon Lee and Rey Fenix.
John Cena
This week on Raw, WWE announced that John Cena would be returning to the show in Brooklyn for the first time since his appearance at Backlash.
It was then announced that Cena would also be appearing on NXT, with him likely to provide an update on the John Cena Classic.
Cody Rhodes
Next week will see Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno, the team now known as Ultranueva, face off against Hank & Tank in the final of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
With this being the final of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, WWE has announced that Cody Rhodes will be present to present the trophy to the winners.
