A legendary WWE star is to be the subject of a new biography, with the project currently in the research stage of writing.
The as-yet-untitled biography will focus on the life of King Kong Bundy, who faced Hulk Hogan in a steel cage for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 2 back in 1986.
PWInsider reports that the biography will be written by Kenny Casanova, who has previously written biographies for Sabu, Kamala, Big Van Vader and others.
Casanova’s most recent non-fiction work saw him co-write Earl Hebner: The Official Story, alongside the famed WWE official.
The report notes that Casanova is “actively working” on the new project, with the author currently conducting additional research and interviews.
Bundy made his WWF debut in March 1985 and would defeat S. D. Jones in just seventeen seconds at the first WrestleMania.
Departing WWF in early 1988, before returning as a member of The Million Dollar Corporation, led by Ted DiBiase, in 1994.
Released in October of the following year, Bundy would continue to work on the independent scene until 2007, with the star passing away in March 2019 at the age of 61.
With multiple biographies to his name, Casanova’s works have been published by Walking On Hot Waffles Publishing since 2015.
Casanova has also ventured into the world of fiction, with 2020 seeing the release of Sabu vs. The Three Little Pigs.
