A TNA Wrestling star has revealed that he and his tag team partner have their sights on furthering their WWE championship record.
Matt & Jeff Hardy have had storied careers which have seen them hold gold in promotions all over the world, notably including WWE and TNA Wrestling.
The current TNA World Tag Team Champions, the pair made a return to WWE earlier this year through the partnership with NXT.
With March 2025 seeing Hardys retain the TNA World Tag Team Championship against NXT Tag Team Champions Fraxiom at NXT Roadblock, Matt Hardy has suggested more WWE gold could be in their future.
Speaking to Fox 9, Matt Hardy teased the possibility of going after either the new WWE Tag Team Championship or its NXT counterpart, saying:
“I think too, man, when you talk about titles and us wanting to cement our legacy as one of the greatest tag teams of all time.
“I still think that, with this interesting partnership between TNA and WWE, I would love to see us mix it up and win some WWE Tag Team Titles again.
“You know, there are new versions of WWE Tag Titles up on the main roster. There are those NXT Tag titles.
“You know, a couple of months back, we beat the NXT Tag Team Champions, and we never got a deserved shot.
“Talk about it. Yeah, we were out there with Fraxiom, and we beat them. 123, in the middle. So we would love to have a shot at those NXT titles too.”
The Hardy Boyz made an appearance at SummerSlam to mark the 25th anniversary of the first-ever TLC match which also featured Edge & Christian and Dudley Boyz.
They are currently in their fourth reign as TNA World Tag Team Champions, having captured the titles at Slammiversary on July 20.
