A current WWE champion has teased appearing at an upcoming independent wrestling show, stating that he needs to talk to his people.
Ethan Page has had a rough week, with the North American Champion defeated by Tavion Heights in a Flag Match on NXT, ahead of Tyler Breeze making his return to take selfies with the unconscious champion.
Adding to this, Friday’s (September 12) Worlds Collide event saw Page unsuccessfully challenge for El Hijo de Dr Wagner Jr’s AAA Latin American Championship in a four-way bout which also included Dragon Lee and JD McDonagh.
Ethan Page has shared a new video, in which he shared some interesting comments about his next move, noting that he’s going home to Hamilton.
Recapping his week, he said:
“I get embarrassed by an American on Tuesday. Add to that we’ve got a fake American, some Canadian from Vancouver, fake Hollywood freak wannabe… And tonight we finish the North American trifecta, and I get embarrassed by a Mexican luchador!
“I’m still the North American Champion, and I still proudly represent my country. I have to go home, I have to go home, I have to go home.”

Pointing to someone off camera, Ethan Page continued:
“Go tell somebody to get the first plane ready, I’m going to Hamilton. I’m going home and I’m talking to my people, and I’m bringing this (North American Championship).
“I need to talk to my people, I’m going, I’m out of here.”
