Trick Williams has addressed the massively popular “Whoop That Trick” chant, declaring it the best in WWE.
A staple of Trick Williams’ time in WWE has been the audience participation during his entrance to the ring, with NXT crowds and later on WWE’s main roster chanting “Whoop That Trick” with perfect timing alongside his ‘Locked In’ theme song.
Trick and his real-life fiancée Lash Legend appeared as guests on SPORTbible’s ‘Agree to Disagree’ show, and the pair were asked whether “Whoop That Trick” is WWE’s greatest chant.
Legend agreed that it was, recalling being in arenas that were “shaking” when her future husband made his entrance.
Trick was in agreement with Lash and explained what makes “Whoop That Trick” such a strong and popular chant:
“What makes ‘Whoop That Trick’ so strong is, it’s a proclamation. It’s a declaration of what you gonna do.
“It’s not just a word, it’s, ‘We’re gonna Whoop That Trick.’ Everybody is on the same accord, it’s aggressive.
“It’s strong. It’s powerful. It’s a movement.”
