There has been an update on two top WWE stars potentially forming a new alliance following a recent return.
Drew McIntyre made his return to WWE television several weeks ago, where he laid out Sami Zayn with a Claymore following his return.
Drew has made his mission clear; to take out anyone who teamed with Roman Reigns at WarGames.
Drew and Sami faced off at Saturday Night’s Main Event, with Drew scoring the win, before declaring that it was ‘one down, four to go’.
Another man whose distain for Roman Reigns is common knowledge is Seth Rollins, which led to speculation that Rollins could end up turning heel to form a new alliance with Drew McIntyre due to their common goals.
The potential of a team up was teased on tonight’s WWE Raw show, when McIntyre approached Rollins backstage, saying they were the only men to see Roman for what he truly is.
Rollins would then tell McIntyre that he helped put a stop to Roman Reigns and the Bloodline before, and he did alongside his friends Sami Zayn and Jey Uso.
Seth told Drew that friendships were built from respect and not common goals, and that he respects Sami and Jey, but the jury is still out on Drew, before saying he would do something that Drew couldn’t and end CM Punk.
