It seems that a top WWE star could be potentially turning heel after an intriguing interaction on tonight’s pre-taped SmackDown.
While the stars of the WWE are already in Perth, Australia ahead of the Elimination Chamber premium live event, tonight’s February 23 pre-taped show from a week ago still holds interesting developments.
In the opening bout of the night, there was a WWE Elimination Chamber preview of sorts when Tiffany Stratton took on Liv Morgan.
During the match, Bianca Belair was at ringside, continuing her streak of former NXT sass as it seems that WWE continues to tease that she’s turning heel.
Towards the end of the match, she ended up having a moment with Liv Morgan where Morgan bumped her off the ring apron after Bianca had left her seat near commentary to respond to disrespect from Tiffany Stratton.
In doing so, Bianca had distracted the referee and seemingly prevented Liv Morgan from picking up the pinfall win.
In the end, Tiffany Stratton picked up the victory with a roll-up after the distraction as she continues to be undefeated since joining SmackDown, with wins over Michin, Zelina Vega and now Morgan.
Elsewhere on tonight’s WWE SmackDown, another recent addition to the main roster from NXT picked up his first singles victory on SmackDown.
Bron Breakker beat Dante Chen in dominant fashion.
