A new WWE tag team was seemingly teased on last night’s episode of WWE SmackDown ahead of Clash at the Castle.
At King and Queen of the Ring, a new queen was crowned, when Nia Jax defeated Lyra Valkyria in the final of the Queen of the Ring tournament.
With Nia set for a WWE Women’s Championship match at SummerSlam, she seemingly has a new ally on her path towards the show.
On last night’s SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton approached Nia backstage, saying that she wanted to form an alliance with the new queen, calling herself the ‘Princess of WWE’.
Nia was then approached by Michin, before the two would take part in a brawl that ended with Michin challenging Nia to a match on next week’s SmackDown in Glasgow.
Also set for next week’s show are Naomi taking on Chelsea Green, as well as a Grayson Waller Effect featuring DIY.
