The first official transfer of the WWE Transfer Window has been revealed on tonight’s SmackDown in a match against Carmelo Hayes.
While Carmelo Hayes was aware that he was facing a mystery opponent on tonight’s SmackDown, the newest acquisition to the blue brand had remained a mystery throughout the night.
Just ahead of the match, Hayes suggested to Aldis his plan to ‘make light work’ out of whoever was revealed as the newest SmackDown acquisition.
Although when the newest SmackDown star was revealed, he was certainly not ‘light’ as Braun Strowman made his return to WWE and Friday nights.
Strowman was last seen on WWE television back on September 30 competing against Bronson Reed in a last man standing match in which Strowman sustained an injury.
Hayes and Strowman had a short match with the returning Strowman picking up the victory.
After the match, Braun made fun of Hayes who glared back at the ‘Monster Among Men’, suggesting there could be another match between them in the future.
