There has been an update on Lilian Garcia’s WWE status following her return on last night’s episode of Raw.
Legendary ring announcer Lilian Garcia made her return to WWE television on last night’s episode of Raw, where she served as the ring announcer for the show following the departure of Samantha Irvin, announced prior to the show.
It was announced prior to the show that Garcia was expected to return ‘full-time’ to the company following Irvin’s departure, and there has now been an update on her status with the company.
Per PWInsider Elite (subscription required), Garcia is expected to have what was described as an ‘extended run’ as the Raw ring announcer, but she may not be the permanent replacement for Irvin.
PWInsider was told that would be a decision that would be made down the line.
