An update has emerged regarding the potential WrestleMania 42 direction for former WWE Women’s Champion and Women’s World Champion IYO SKY.

With Rhea Ripley now appearing on SmackDown to build to her WWE Women’s Title match at Mania against Jade Cargill, SKY finds herself out of title contention as Liv Morgan is challenging Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer on the Raw side.

However, it has seemed in recent weeks that SKY has been growing concerned about the Kabuki Warriors – particularly how Asuka is treating Kairi Sane.

IYO SKY Calls Out Asuka

In a new video posted after tonight’s WWE Raw, SKY said:

“Rhea went to SmackDown and I’m no longer the Tag Team Champion. Now I’m starting to see things clearly.

“Kairi might have chosen to follow Asuka on her own, but the way Asuka’s treating Kairi right now isn’t right.

“Kairi needs to realize that and she needs to get out of there. I need her to see it. We need to do something about that.

“And Raquel! I don’t know what your deal is but you’ve been all over me lately. Next week, at Madison Square Garden, IYO SKY is gonna take you down and send you packing.

“I’ll deal with the Kairi and Asuka thing after that. No worries! I can do that.”

As SKY mentioned, she will face Raquel Rodriguez at next week’s WWE Raw, so it looks like she’ll be heading into WrestleMania season in a storyline with the Kabuki Warriors.

SKY is rightly regarded as one of the best in-ring talents on the WWE roster, and over the past year especially, has grown into one of the most popular.

It would be a shame if she missed out on WrestleMania, but it remains to be seen if a match between her and Asuka, or possibly a three-way with Kairi Sane, will be added to the card.
