Dustin Rhodes has been confirmed for a non-AEW appearance during his absence from the company due to injury.
Absent since last July, Dustin Rhodes has undergone double knee replacement surgery and recently provided an update on his rehab progress.
While a return to the ring may be some time away, the former TNT Champion has confirmed he is heading to Crufts next month.
Taking place at The NEC in Birmingham, England, Rhodes will be at the event, which runs from March 5 to 8.
Not only will Rhodes be in attendance, but he will be bringing his Mastiff with him, as he states on Twitter:
“I am so excited to be attending @Crufts this yr in #BirminghamUK as I will be bringing my Mastiff and #1 breed/all breed in the U.S., and the #7 working dog in the country with 13 Best in Shows, #Beast.
“Look forward to meeting all of you there. We have America’s top handler who takes great care of our #Beast, Terry Smith.
“Breeder-Kimberly Harac
“Handler-Terry Smith
“Owner- Dustin Rhodes and Ta-rel Marie Runnels”
The post was accompanied by photos of Beast, clearly demonstrating the majesty of the Mastiff.
Rhodes has previously hinted that a March 2026 date could see him return to the AEW ring.
