Dakota Kai Betrays Bayley, Sides With WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY & Kabuki Warriors

Tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown saw Dakota Kai betray Bayley and side with IYO SKY and the Kabuki Warriors.

On tonight’s March 1 show, there was a tag team match featuring the Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) taking on former stablemates (or so it seemed), Bayley and Dakota Kai.

While Dakota Kai said last week she’d supposedly suffered a mysterious unwitnessed attack by Damage CTRL to set up the match, her intentions were clearly suspicious.

Those suspicions were confirmed on tonight’s show when Kai turned on Bayley as well to join the rest of Damage CTRL against their former leader.

In the match as Bayley was going for the tag to Dakota Kai, the latter jumped down off the ring apron and cemented herself as a member of the heel group.

Throwing the final Damage CTRL dagger, Bayley’s entire former faction waged a beatdown on her with the final insult of the segment coming from her future WrestleMania 40 opponent, IYO SKY.

The new four-woman group minus Bayley also now has a new version of the Damage CTRL theme music with Japanese lyrics.

Bayley is officially on her own as the group she created has completely turned on her.

After the match backstage, IYO SKY came face-to-face with Jade Cargill as Cargill was seemingly still being recruited by SmackDown GM Nick Aldis, who informed Dakota Kai that he would ‘deal with her later’.
