Find out what happened with Cody Rhodes in front of the Glendale, Arizona live crowd after WWE SmackDown featured a challenge from The Rock.
While Cody Rhodes may have not appeared on WWE SmackDown television tonight, he did still make a scheduled appearance in front of the live audience.
Cody Rhodes appeared in a dark match after SmackDown TV went off the air in which he beat Drew McIntyre.
After the match, Cody took the microphone to speak to the excited live crowd who had previously witnessed the opening of tonight’s edition of SmackDown, featuring the Bloodline, Roman Reigns and The Rock.
Asking the live crowd if The Rock had been there earlier, Cody feigned ignorance about exactly what had been said during the long opening promo.
Calling upon his cousin, timekeeper Berkley Ottman, to fill him in on what The Rock had said, he was shocked to hear the insults lobbed at the fans in the town outside of Phoenix, Arizona.
Cody was scandalized that The Rock would have referred to the fine citizens in attendance of doing either crack cocaine or meth, saying “there’s kids here!”
Cody Rhodes then instructed the crowd to boo Berkley for having repeated such a thing, which they happily obliged.
Sending the live crowd off in good spirits, Cody Rhodes didn’t spoil anything regarding the on-going storyline between him and the Bloodline.
