Speaking to Loaded World, Jericho was asked which of his rivals from his wrestling career he believes pushed him the hardest.

Jericho named both of his rivalries with Shawn Michaels in 2003 and 2008, as well as his rivalry with Cody Rhodes in AEW.

He said:

“I had a great rivalry with Shawn Michaels. In 2003 and 2008, I think both of them are legendary classic storylines. We pushed each other very well.

“I had that with Cody Rhodes, too. I remember him saying, ‘You push me well.’ That’s what you want: someone who will push you to a higher level.”

Rumours of Chris Jericho’s potential return to WWE have continued to swirl since the reported expiration of his AEW contract at the end of 2025.

Jericho was not present during the 2026 Men’s Royal Rumble match.
