Charlotte Flair has shown some love for a WWE NXT star after their match at this past Tuesday’s special Homecoming episode.
Homecoming saw WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss return to Full Sail where they began their NXT careers.
They defended their championship against Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley of The Culling, who had defeated ZaRuca and Fatal Influence to earn the title shot a week prior.
It appears Flair has come out of the match with particular praise for Dame, showing support on social media.
Dame posted numerous photos of Tuesday’s match, along with the caption: “Still smiling 🥲”.
In a reply to that post, Flair wrote: “You killed it mama”.
Flair also shared Dame’s post to her own Instagram Story, adding the caption: “See you again soon woman 🫶❤️”.
Dame has mentioned in the past Flair was her favorite current wrestler.
As for what’s next for Flair and Bliss, their next challengers for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship after they retained against Dame and Paxley are the duo of Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre, as announced on last week’s SmackDown.
