WWE has made a new announcement about AJ Lee, following her return to the company on Friday Night SmackDown.
After over a decade away, AJ Lee made her WWE comeback on September 5, attacking Becky Lynch and aligning with her husband CM Punk onscreen.
Amid speculation about her next move, the former Divas Champion’s next WWE TV appearance has now been confirmed.
As confirmed by Raw General Manager Adam Pearce, AJ Lee will appear on Monday’s (September 8) edition of Raw.
Pearce noted the following in his social media announcement video:
“Everybody saw what took place on Friday, and now, for the first time in more than a decade, AJ Lee will be live in the house on the flagship, with a ton to say. I’m sure she will do just that in Milwaukee.”
Adam Pearce also announced AJ Styles vs El Grande Americano, Lyra Valkyria vs Raquel Rodriguez and an Usos appearance for the show.
Prior to Pearce’s official announcement, it was reported that AJ Lee would be on Raw to “seal the deal” and set up her and CM Punk’s Wrestlepalooza match against Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch.
AJ Lee last wrestled on the March 30, 2015 Raw episode, teaming with Naomi and Paige (Saraya) to defeat the Bella Twins and Natalya.
