AEW World Champion MJF has praised a WWE name after they recently won a ‘worst’ award in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
On Friday, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter hosted it’s annual year end awards, with both positive and negative award winners revealed for the year 2025.
For the award of Worst Announcer, the voters of the awards voted for WWE Hall of Famer Booker T, who serves as a commentator for the WWE NXT show every Tuesday on the CW Network.
Taking to social media, AEW World Champion MJF commented on Booker winning the award, praising Booker
@BookerT5x in a lot of ways is a blueprint to me. A completely homegrown top guy with massive drawing power on Warner TV without having to have worked for McMahon.
If you dislike what he does in the booth, that’s fine.
But You guys talk crazy on legends.
Show some respect, he’s earned it.
MJF is set to make his next defence of the AEW World Championship at this weekend’s House of Glory event, where he faces off against Zilla Fatu.
