AEW TNT Champion Tommaso Ciampa has sent a message on social media to his former WWE tag-team partner, Johnny Gargano.
With Ciampa and Gargano last teaming on the December 19 edition of SmackDown, Gargano has been establishing himself as a singled wrestler on SmackDown following his teammate’s departure from the company.
Following Axiom defeating Gargano on the January 30 edition of SmackDown, the former WWE Tag Team Champion was shown lying on his front backstage during the February 6 episode.
Gargano has taken to social media several times since this show to share photos of himself lying in different situations, distraught after losing possession of Axiom’s mask.
Tommaso Ciampa has commented on Gargano’s latest post, which saw Gargano lying on a treadmill in the gym.
Reaching out to his former teammate, Ciampa wrote:
“I’ve been texting and calling you, man. Candice says you’re not looking good”
Tommaso Ciampa made his AEW debut on the January 28 Dynamite episode, confronting then-TNT Champion Mark Briscoe.
Ciampa won the TNT Championship from Briscoe on the January 31 Collision episode.
