Adam Pearce has taken to social media to welcome a former champion to the WWE Raw roster.
Arguably the biggest announcement of yesterday’s WWE Raw on Netflix Kickoff event at WWE HQ (December 18) was that Logan Paul would be joining the red brand ahead of the January 6 Netflix premiere.
Having last competed at WWE SummerSlam, losing his United States Championship to LA Knight, Paul was greeted by Adam Pearce and WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H, posing for a photograph with the ‘social media megastar’.
The day following the event, WWE Raw General Manager took to Twitter to post an image of himself, Triple H and his latest acquisition, writing:
Welcome to #WWERaw, @LoganPaul!
Paul’s move was enough to make headlines in of itself, but his comments at the event made clear that he was aiming for the top on Monday nights.
Paul vowed that he would become WWE World Heavyweight Champion, with The Ring General GUNTHER later responding to Paul by saying he’d “slap his stupid smirk of his face”.
GUNTHER may not be the only fight in Paul’s future however, as former UFC Champion Conor McGregor recently claimed that “preliminary agreements” are in place to fight The Maverick in a boxing match.
