WWE Tag Teams Splitting Up Soon

WWE Tag Teams Splitting Up Soon

With plenty of shifts in alliance always happening in WWE, there could be several potential tag teams headed for a split soon.

Between groups that have been together for quite some time to tag teams that are relatively new, it may be that there are break-ups around the corner for numerous WWE tag teams.

Here are seven WWE tag teams potentially splitting up soon.

7. Judgment Day

One group that has continued to teeter on the edge of collapse has been the Judgment Day, but since the return of Liv Morgan, things could be poised to implode.

With the very possible likelihood that there will be a split within the group soon, it isn’t entirely clear where loyalties will lie.

The group could potentially see a split from Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan while leaving the rest of the group behind, though Morgan has seemed on good terms with Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez since her comeback.

With plenty of storylines of potential quiet betrayal yet to be revealed, there could be a major storyline planned for the road to WrestleMania 42 that sees the group fall apart in a dramatic way.

6. AJ Styles & Dragon Lee

While AJ Styles & Dragon Lee remain the World Tag Team Champions, it does seem that their partnership could be temporary.

Possibly setting up a feud between the two compelling performers in the event of their split, since Styles is seemingly headed to retirement, it certainly seems that Lee would be the one to defect.

Giving way for the perfect opportunity for not only Dragon Lee to potentially turn heel but also go on to lead his own new group of heels, the break-up could end up changing the game on WWE Raw.

With the impending return of Santos Escobar, he and Dragon Lee could go on to make a dastardly pair that spend most of their time in singles action but that are also an ever-present force at ringside.

5. The Usos

With a potential heel turn coming from Jey Uso, The Usos could end up splitting once again.

Since there have been some teases already, Jimmy could end up remaining much more on the babyface side while Jey begins to go down a more morally dubious path.

However, if Jimmy Uso were also to elect to turn heel, there may be a brand new eras of The Usos on the horizon.

Since the potential WWE return of The Hardy Boyz (Matt & Jeff Hardy) could be coming soon, perhaps The Usos are set to be their heel foils.

4. The MFTs

There could be a potential split ahead for one of WWE’s biggest factions, the MFTs — Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Talla Tonga, Tonga Loa and JC Mateo.

With a good number of members to the group falling behind Solo Sikoa as their leader, there is a conceivable future that the group turn against him.

While there are numerous options for which new leader could assume the role of their guiding light, a heel turn from Jey Uso and a hostile takeover of the MFTs on Solo Sikoa could be a potential direction to explore.

Leading to a future Bloodline battle between an Uso-led MFT faction against the potential alliance of Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, Solo Sikoa and possibly more to even the field, there could be some fascinating stories still to come from the Bloodline.

3. The Culling

After Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley faced off at WWE NXT Deadline, there could be a total collapse of The Culling.

With Dame being referred to as “the mastermind” of The Culling by Vic Joseph on commentary for the match, it could end up that Dame is one big loss away from getting the boot from the group as well.

Seemingly poised to be the heir of the group’s jealousy in the future, it might end up being that she gets discarded shortly by Shawn Spears and Niko Vance.

Izzi Dame did pick up the win against Paxley at Deadline thanks to interference by Shawn Spears, who ripped the head off of Tatum Paxley’s doll.

2. Fraxiom

After two NXT Tag Team Title reigns, the duo of Fraxiom have so far failed to capture titles on the main roster.

With the pair of Nathan Frazer and Axiom definitely able to go their separate ways and have successful singles careers, it might be that the time is now.

Able to launch their singles status via a feud with one another, the pair would be the perfect duo to have a best of five or a best of seven series.

Using the series to completely reinvent themselves, both men could end up much stronger in the end for having been showcased going one-on-one.

1. The LWO

One group that hasn’t been seen together on-screen as a complete unit in quite some time is the Latino World Order (the LWO).

Dragon Lee has instead been teaming with AJ Styles to great success as they are the current World Tag Team Champions, and Rey Mysterio hasn’t reunited with Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro since returning from injury.

If the group isn’t continuing together as a whole, an on-screen explanation could be coming soon.
