With changes coming frequently in WWE pairings, there are some current tag teams that could be on the verge of collapse.
From teams that may break-up and stay allied to others that seem more likely to feud with one another, there are several WWE tag teams that could be set to break up.
Here are six potential WWE tag teams that could be breaking up soon.
6. AJ Styles & Dragon Lee

While the duo have been enjoyable during their time holding the titles, it does seem as though their title run is coming to an end.
With the reunion of The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) on WWE Raw and the persistent chase from The New Day, it could be that Styles and Lee drop the WWE World Tag Team Championship sooner rather than later.
Potentially paving the way for the return of the Hardy Boyz (Matt and Jeff Hardy) in the first half of 2026, AJ Styles has more things to conquer before his current WWE contract expires sometime after the Royal Rumble 2026.
Possibly signing on for more time to facilitate his own specific farewell tour, AJ Styles could end up having a series of memorable singles matches after this partnership ends.

5. Zaruca

With the potential for there to be no drama whatsoever and instead, Sol Ruca and ZARIA could just be drafted to the main roster on different brands.
Since Sol Ruca could certainly fit right in on WWE Raw with Bayley, Lyra Valkyria, Becky Lynch and more — perhaps ZARIA could find herself on SmackDown.
Able to take on heavy hitters like Giulia and Nia Jax, ZARIA could put on an impressive show and find herself tangling with the top of the card very soon.
Since Rhea Ripley has been making some appearances alongside Damian Priest on the blue brand, it could be that ZARIA is the next to join their growing squad on SmackDown in 2026.

4. #DIY

There could be trouble ahead for Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano with the potential for #DIY to fall apart.
While the duo are compelling together, they also make for equally interesting foes for one another — a storyline beat that has yet to be explored on the main roster.
Potentially able to channel some of the emotional power from their split on NXT, the duo could end up telling a calculated long term storyline of reunification.
Able to call in similar notes from the Bloodline saga, the pair of “brothers” could certainly tap into a shared emotional experience of betrayal and redemption with the WWE audience.

3. Fraxiom

After two NXT Tag Team Title reigns, the duo of Fraxiom have so far failed to capture titles on the main roster and could be headed for a future collapse.
With the pair of Nathan Frazer and Axiom able to go their separate ways and definitely have successful singles careers – a split in 2026 might make total sense.
Unlike the standard trope of tag team partners turning on one another, the team of Fraxiom could subvert expectations and end up remaining allied.
Splitting across brands or potentially just exploring their own goals in life, there could definitely be a split coming soon for Axiom and Nathan Frazer.

2. Fatal Influence

With the NXT faction staying strong for now, it would seem that there could be a break-up in the near future.
Since both Fallon Henley and Jacy Jayne are fully prepared for main roster success, it could be that in lieu of remaining as a trio for a call-up, the pair of Henley & Jayne depart NXT for separate main roster brands.
With Jayne able to join SmackDown and Henley heading to WWE Raw, there might be brand new rivalries in store for both talented performers.
Since each have demonstrated a notable commitment to both the industry and the company, hopefully their dedication is set to pay off in 2026 with a call-up to the main roster.

1. Judgment Day

One group that has continued to teeter on the edge of collapse has been the Judgment Day, but since the return of Liv Morgan — they group remains in an interesting spot.
With the very possible likelihood that there will be a split within the group soon, it isn’t entirely clear where loyalties will lie.
The group could potentially see a split from Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan while leaving the rest of the group behind, though Morgan has seemed on good terms with Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez since her comeback.
With plenty of storylines of potential quiet betrayal yet to be revealed, there could be a major storyline planned for the road to WrestleMania 42 that sees the group fall apart in a dramatic way.
