With characters often changing in WWE, there could be some stars that are currently heels set to become babyfaces.

From heels that could be looking to recapture some babyface magic in the latter years of their careers to others set to return from injury with a brand new persona, there could be some big babyface turns coming soon in WWE.

Here are six WWE stars that could be poised to turn babyface in the near future.

6. The Miz

With veterans John Cena and AJ Styles looking to wind down their careers, another big name from a past generation is The Miz.

Already announced for participation in the Last Time Is Now tournament to determine who will be John Cena’s last opponent, there could be a heartwarming interaction with Cena that could turn The Miz into a babyface.

While he recently turned on Carmelo Hayes on SmackDown, it isn’t uncommon for The Miz to ride the line between babyface and heel.

Definitely able to go the way of Randy Orton and make the shift to being a babyface due to crowd reaction and general fan favorite status, The Miz could find a renaissance in the twilight of his in-ring career.

5. Rusev

While he was presented as a heel upon his return, WWE fans have had a hard time not cheering for Rusev.

The returning star spent several years away from the company before returning to WWE in 2025 and ending up in a brutal feud with Sheamus and then an amusing back-and-forth with Dominik Mysterio.

Possibly able to join forces with Sheamus to form a brand new babyface alliance, there could be some fun storylines ahead for Rusev.

With Rusev and Sheamus both able to capture the nostalgic fan favorite energy that could be up for grabs with the departure of John Cena, the duo could end up being a fun babyface tag team.

4. Finn Balor

After dropping the WWE World Tag Team Championship he held with JD McDonagh, Finn Balor could be headed for a babyface turn.

Possibly looking to expand on his singles achievements, Balor received a hero’s reception when he made a recent return to NXT for Homecoming.

Potentially popping back up to continue his emerging feuds in AAA, Finn Balor could end up turning babyface in Mexico and bringing it back to the main roster.

With the return of Liv Morgan certain to shake up the the Judgment Day faction, perhaps Balor will bail.

3. Giulia

Since Giulia recently lost the United States Championship to Chelsea Green over on SmackDown, perhaps a change for her is coming soon.

While it makes sense that Rhea Ripley is engaging with the feud between IYO SKY and the Kabuki Warriors, there could be a more powerful story to be told if Ripley was out and Giulia was in.

With Ripley’s WarGames status still uncertain due to her broken nose, there could be an interesting and compelling showcase of talent and style not really seen before in WWE if SKY was to bring Giulia in as a new ally against Asuka and Kairi Sane.

With the four technicians of a hard hitting, captivating and emotionally powerful style of in-ring storytelling, turning them loose together to create magic could be special.

2. Raquel Rodriguez

There is another Judgment Day star that could make the flip to becoming a babyface again rather easily in Raquel Rodriguez.

While she somewhat reluctantly joined forces with Roxanne Perez when Liv Morgan was first injured, their partnership has become more solid over the past few months.

However, Rodriguez has largely put her ambitions on the main roster on hold and instead seems to be helping Roxanne Perez target Stephanie Vaquer – a role she may come to resent in the long run.

Likely to link back up with her multi-time tag team co-champion Liv Morgan when she returns to action from injury, it would make sense to see Rodriguez turn babyface as well.

1. Liv Morgan

After being out of action since June 2025 due to a shoulder injury, former WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan could be poised for a return.

Reportedly set for a return in “early 2026”, it has also been rumored that Morgan could be able to return sooner than that as well.

With very few weeks left in 2025, it could be that the return of a babyface Liv Morgan is coming in the near future.
