After announcing their acquisition of Lucha Libre AAA ahead of WrestleMania 41, there have been several WWE stars who have made the Mexican promotion their new home.
Helping to bring credibility and star power to the company, these WWE talents have found their place in AAA and are regular presences on their shows.
Looking at the current WWE roster, there are quite a few names who could potentially sign with the Mexican promotion to bolster their roster in a major way.
Here are eight WWE stars to potentially sign with AAA.
8. Omos

Back at the AAA TripleMania XXXIII event, Omos made his debut for the company, competing in the La Copa Bardahl battle royal.
“The Nigerian Giant” has been absent from WWE programming for well over one year and seems like he could find a home with AAA.
Then at the recent AAA Guerra de Titanes event, Omos once again appeared in the company to align with El Hijo del Vikingo by helping him defeat Dragon Lee.
With this new alliance, it seems like Omos will settle in Lucha Libre AAA where he could be a dominant force against the rest of the roster moving forward.

7. El Grande Americano

Another WWE star who has been making regular appearances in Lucha Libre AAA over the past few months is El Grande Americano.
Debuting for WWE in 2025, the masked luchador has become one of the most popular acts in AAA in the past few months.
Aligning with Dominik Mysterio, Americano has been a consistent part of the main event picture in the Mexican promotion.
Now that it seems like he does not have a regular role on WWE Raw, Americano could become a top act and future AAA Mega Champion if he signs with the company.

6. Lola Vice

Since signing with WWE in 2022, Lola Vice has displayed herself to be a future star for the company in many ways on the NXT brand.
Establishing herself as a presence on the NXT women’s division, Vice has been on the cusp of superstardom and championship gold.
In recent months, Vice has been showing off her charisma and MMA background in Mexico for Lucha Libre AAA.
After failing to capture gold in WWE, Lola Vice could become a champion in AAA where she could elevate up the card at a more rapid rate.

5. Nattie Neidhart

Another WWE star who has been a regular fixture on Lucha Libre AAA shows is Natalya.
Despite not debuting the character on WWE programming, Natalya has showcased her “Nattie Neidhart” gimmick in AAA.
With her all black aesthetics and more aggressive in-ring style, Neidhart has been a threat to every other female star working for the Mexican promotion.
Bringing her “Lowkey Legend” side out more, Nattie Neidhart could dominate the AAA women’s division in ways that she has never been able to in WWE.

4. The LWO (Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde)

Ever since WWE acquired Lucha Libre AAA, The LWO have been appearing on various shows over in Mexico.
Considering the group no longer features Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee, Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde have done their best to represent the Latino World Order.
Competing in tag team and multi-man action, The LWO have been gaining momentum in AAA that they have not been able to accomplish in WWE.
Del Toro and Wilde feel like they could have a more consistent role in AAA than what they currently have in WWE.

3. Apollo Crews

Back in January, Apollo Crews suffered a torn pectoral injury during an episode of SmackDown.
The former Intercontinental Champion underwent surgery in February and has been out of action for the duration of 2025.
At a recent Lucha Libre AAA event in November, Crews returned from injury to defeat Lince Dorado in singles competition.
Apollo Crews has always had impressive in-ring ability and could be better showcased in Mexico for AAA than he might be able to back in WWE upon his return.

2. Los Garza (Angel & Berto)

At the AAA TripleMania Regia III show, Los Garza won a four-way match to become the new AAA World Tag Team Champions.
Angel and Berto have been an impressive duo for years, but it felt like they finally got the spotlight with the Mexican promotion.
After defending the gold for months even on WWE TV, Los Garza lost the titles to Psycho Clown and Pagano at TripleMania XXXIII.
With the duo not appearing on WWE programming for months, it feels like Los Garza could have a more prominent role if they decide to sign with Lucha Libre AAA.

1. Santos Escobar

Speaking of Los Garza, their Legado Del Fantasma leader Santos Escobar has also remained absent from WWE television.
Back in October, Escobar’s WWE contract expired, making him a free agent. However, Santos went on to re-sign with the promotion just one day after his deal expired.
With reports of WWE having big plans for the star upon his return, Escobar remains away from the company and hasn’t appeared for Lucha Libre AAA either.
Santos Escobar could become a main event talent and future AAA Mega Champion with the right push upon signing with the Mexican promotion.
