Over the course of 2025, there have been various stars from the WWE SmackDown roster who have left the brand.
Whether it be Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso or AJ Styles and LA Knight, these talents have made for necessary additions to the Raw roster and major losses for the blue brand.
There could be any number of names who could potentially be next to leave SmackDown in the weeks and months to come.
Here are eight WWE stars to potentially leave SmackDown.
8. Jacob Fatu
2025 has seen Jacob Fatu’s stock continue to rise within WWE after winning his first singles title.
‘The Samoan Werewolf’ won the United States Championship from LA Knight at WWE WrestleMania 41.
After losing the gold at Night of Champions 2025, Fatu could potentially leave SmackDown to see what else is out there for him.
Following the conclusion of his rivalry with Solo Sikoa and The MFTs, Fatu making the jump to WWE Raw could see him continue his ascent and become a breakout star before long.

7. Chelsea Green & Secret Hervice
Over the course of 2025, fans have seen Chelsea Green and the Secret Hervice appear on all three main brands of WWE.
Whether it be interacting with the Raw women’s division or aligning with Ethan Page on NXT, Chelsea’s impact on WWE TV has made her someone who has risen the ranks in the company.
With Piper Niven’s recent injury, Green and Alba Fyre have been teaming together in the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship picture.
Wanting to gain some new opportunities on Raw or NXT, Chelsea and her Secret Hervice could be the next stars to depart SmackDown for greener pastures.

In June, Giulia defeated Zelina Vega to win the WWE Women’s United States Championship.
After losing a title rematch to ‘The Beautiful Madness,’ fans have not seen Vega on WWE television over the past couple of months.
Needing a change of scenery after losing the gold, it might be time for Zelina to leave SmackDown.
Returning to Monday Night Raw or WWE NXT, Vega could find some more opportunities by heading off of SmackDown and trying her hand on another brand.

5. Shinsuke Nakamura
In recent weeks, there have been some questions regarding the in-ring future of Shinsuke Nakamura in WWE.
The multi-time United States Champion has not been seen on WWE television in the past several months other than lurking behind Sami Zayn a couple of weeks ago, and could be the next who needs to switch brands.
‘The King of Strong Style’ could still contribute to WWE if given the opportunity and may need to leave SmackDown to get that.
Regaining a consistent role on WWE programming, Nakamura could potentially return to NXT where he would be a timely addition to its men’s division to become an elder statesman against the likes of Oba Femi or Je’Von Evans.

4. Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley)
Making their WWE debut in October 2024, Motor City Machine Guns immediately placed themselves right in the thick of the SmackDown tag team division from the start.
Winning the WWE Tag Team Championship in their third match in the company, Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley instantly showcased their worth and why they are considered one of the greatest duos of their generation.
Sabin and Shelley have a legacy that will continue to be added to during their WWE run and could be in need of new opportunities to flourish.
MCMG making their way to Raw would immediately bolster the doubles division with their legendary array of tag team wrestling making for a formidable opponent for the likes of The Judgment Day, The New Day and The Creeds.

3. Rey Fenix
In recent interviews, both Penta and Rey Fenix have alluded to wanting to reunite to form the Lucha Bros in WWE.
When the former AEW World Tag Team Champions were signed, many fans believed it would be to pair them together and to take over the WWE tag team scene.
However, the company decided to introduce them separately and allow both men to forge their own paths on Raw and SmackDown respectively.
With both men seemingly needing a major change, it might be the right time for WWE to pull the trigger on the Lucha Bros reunion by moving Fenix to Raw with his family.

2. Bianca Belair
Bianca Belair has been sidelined from in-ring competition since suffering a broken finger injury during her three-way bout against Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY at WWE WrestleMania 41.
After being out of action for nearly six months, it feels like it might be time for ‘The EST of WWE’ to make her way back into the fold.
Belair returning and immediately moving brands would bring a lot of eyes and attention, and would make her an intriguing star moving forward.
Considering her place as one of the top stars of the WWE women’s division, Belair adding to the Raw women’s division that currently includes Rhea Ripley, Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer would make this the best array of talent on one brand ever.

1. Cody Rhodes
Back in January 2025, WWE moved its flagship Monday Night Raw show from cable television to streaming when the program premiered on Netflix.
Ever since this move was made, many fans have believed the company would put its top title in the Undisputed WWE Championship on the red brand.
‘The American Nightmare’ has held the WWE Title for the majority of 2025 and has appeared on Raw quite a few times this year.
Officially making the move, Cody Rhodes taking the Undisputed WWE Championship to Monday Night Raw would completely shift the landscape of the company and open the door for the champion to mix it up with top talent, such as Seth Rollins and CM Punk.
