As the release of WWE 2K26 draws nearer, there are several new names that could make their debut appearances as playable characters.
From some of NXT’s top names that have already been confirmed, to a new SmackDown star who should be set to get the nod — there are some big names set to join the latest WWE video game release.
Here are eight WWE stars potentially set to debut in WWE 2K26.
8. Steve Corino

An interesting inclusion in the release video discussion WWE 2K26 is ECW legend and current NXT coach, Steve Corino.
While he could certainly appear in the game as a coach (as Matt Bloom as has been in the past) or as a playable character from the past now that he is contracted with WWE, similarly to Abyss’ inclusion in WWE 2K25.
However, with a rumored CM Punk Showcase Mode that could be included in the game, perhaps Corino will arrive in WWE 2K26 as a part of his legendary feud with the Second City Saint on the indies.
While Corino has never appeared in a WWE game, he has featured in two ECW video games.

7. Blake Monroe

Arriving in NXT in June 2025, Blake Monroe has made a massive impact so far on the brand.
Having a landmark feud with Jordynne Grace, Monroe would go on to battle back and forth over the NXT North American Championship with Thea Hail.
Currently embroiled in a feud with Jaida Parker, there are seemingly endless possibilities just in NXT for the playable character version of Blake Monroe — not to mention the main roster possibilities.
With players being able to book dream matches between Monroe with the likes of Tiffany Stratton, Charlotte Flair and Nikki Bella — the possibilities could be a tease of things to come when Monroe joins the main roster.

6. Myles Borne

Set to be included in this year’s group of playable characters is Myles Borne.
Confirmed to make his debut in WWE 2K26, Myles Borne will continue his hot streak in WWE that includes major moments over the past year.
Certainly coming into his own since departing from the No Quarter Catch Crew, Myles Borne exudes cool in his sharp in-ring gear as well as his smooth backstage suits.
Able to bring brand new feuds for Borne or even rehash old ones with his former mentor Charlie Dempsey who made his debut appearance in the 2K25 version of the game, it will be fun for fans to play as Borne.

4. Wren Sinclair

A potential newcomer to WWE 2K26 could be the No Quarter Catch Crew’s Wren Sinclair.
Omitted from last year’s group of NXT stars that were in the WWE 2K25 game, it would definitely make sense to see this be Wren Sinclair’s year.
With her continued storyline with the No Quarter Catch Crew lasting throughout the year, she has now taken up a pal in Kendal Grey, another potential new playable character in WWE 2K26.
Showcasing a ton of personality, it would be really fun for fans to be able to play as her while she seeks to take over NXT.

One star that is an absolute must for the base game of WWE 2K26 is new SmackDown signee, Jordynne Grace.
Grace, along with other former NXT stars Stephanie Vaquer and Giulia, joined the WWE 2K25 roster as a DLC character.
Now able to join the line-up for WWE 2K26’s roster from the get go, Grace will be an excellent addition as she embarks on her journey as a SmackDown star in 2026.

1. Hank Walker & Tank Ledger

With Hank & Tank becoming a fan favorite team in NXT, it could be that WWE 2K26 will finally see the arrival of the Blue Collar Brawlers to the game.
Since both have unique looks, taunts and a fun move set, it would make total sense to see the former NXT Tag Team Champions end up in this year’s game.
Other tag teams that were omitted in 2K25 that might make an appearance are OTM (Lucien Price & Bronco Lima) and Tyriek Igwe & Tyson Dupont.
With plenty of exciting talent still to be announced for the upcoming WWE 2K26, it will be interesting to see which names make the final cut.
