There are numerous WWE stars that could benefit from falling under the tutiledge of John Cena as the legendary 17-time Champion ends his in-ring career.
Still able to impart wisdom and candor onto the next generations, there are solid reasons for each member of this list to appear on-screen with John Cena.
Here are eight WWE stars that could be managed by John Cena.
8. Carmelo Hayes
After being drafted in the first round to SmackDown in 2024. Carmelo Hayes has continued to steadily impress on the blue brand.
Ready for a brighter spotlight in the wake of his recent impressive showing in the Last Time Is Now tournament to find John Cena’s final WWE opponent, Hayes would be an amazing on-screen partner for Cena in these final weeks.
Able to help bolster Hayes’ profile, it would be nice to see Hayes end up in one of the exhibition matches at the Saturday Night’s Main Event which is set to host Cena’s retirement.
If given the opportunity, Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams could absolutely tear the house down in Washington D.C. for the big event in a match that could be hand selected by Cena himself.

7. Je’Von Evans
A captivating NXT star that continues to make a great impression on the veterans he has encountered is Je’Von Evans.
Boasting an impressive in-ring style that seems to defy gravity as he makes fast moving and high flying action look seamless, at only 21 years old
Already taking in compliments from the likes of Randy Orton and Sheamus, Je’Von could add a big ally to his list with John Cena.
Already making a massive impression on the veterans he has met and worked with, Je’Von Evans seems poised to have a very bright future in WWE.

6. LA Knight
LA Knight continues to be a crowd favorite who can’t quite seem to break into the main event picture in WWE.
However now that he has made it to the finals of the Last Time Is Now tournament to determine who will be John Cena’s last opponent, it could be that Knight’s time is now.
If he weren’t to end up being Cena’s final opponent, he could make an incredible partner to Cena on-screen with the legendary star able to lend his support to the former United States Champion.
Able to incorporate John Cena into a spicy feud with GUNTHER in the event Knight loses the finals of the tournament, there could be a future storyline on the other side of Cena’s retirement for all involved.

5. Charlotte Flair
While Charlotte Flair certainly doesn’t require any bolster of brand from John Cena, she may be next in line to become a legendary figure to WWE’s youngest fans.
Perhaps much less of a manager and more of an ambassador, it would be nice to see John Cena pass the torch to a beloved female star like Charlotte Flair.
While Charlotte has continued to revamp her presentation with fans since joining forces with Alexa Bliss, she has also begun to establish herself as a fan favorite of kids in the audience.
The further cement the notion, it would be fun to see Charlotte and Cena unite on-screen to make it clear that Flair is ready to take on the commitment to children’s charities that Cena has demonstrated throughout his career.

4. Charlie Dempsey
Most recently invading TNA Wrestling, Charlie Dempsey seems set for a call-up to the WWE main roster sometime in the near future.
One route could be that he forges an on-screen alliance with John Cena with a relatively compelling reason for the pair to link up.
With Dempsey’s real-life dad William Regal having his own complex history with Cena, there’s a unique opportunity to give a nod to the past, present and future all at once with the partnership.
Since Charlie Dempsey has his own complex relationship with the on-screen version of his father, seeing a storyline kick-off with Dempsey finding inspiration and support from Cena for a short time might be able to be referenced for years to come.

3. The Creed Brothers
Recently absent on WWE Raw, the Creed Brothers (Julius Creed and Brutus Creed) remain in active WWE competition.
Potentially awaiting the return of their American Made leader Chad Gable, the duo could also greatly benefit from some support in the interim from John Cena.
Even if the Creed Brothers were just to pop-up with John Cena for a loose affiliation — the on-screen interaction could prove powerful.
Definitely able to make a fun short-term partnership, it could end up that by the time Gable returns he puts an immediate end to any babyface goodwill that the Creeds had amassed — thereby setting them up for a potential redemption storyline in the future.

2. Bayley
Another star that doesn’t particularly need the management services of John Cena but could use the opportunity to take their character in a new direction is Bayley.
With Bayley at a crossroads in her career, it could be the perfect time for her to take in some sage advice from the certain future WWE Hall of Famer, John Cena.
Able to have an on-screen chat with Cena, perhaps Bayley’s character will reveal herself to be either squarely back to a hugging babyface era or take a turn to the dark side.
Ushering in a new era of Bayley either way, John Cena could end up being the unsuspecting catalyst to whatever comes next for the multi-time WWE Women’s Champion.

1. Ricky Saints
Thus far in the NXT run of Ricky Saints, the former AEW star has had to be fearless in his pursuit of gold.
Joining WWE less than a year ago, Saints has already held the NXT North American Championship and the NXT Championship, involved in top programs with Trick Williams and Oba Femi.
Seeing Saints get the nod on-screen from Cena could be an incredible star making moment with the 17x Champion able to pass the torch to another compelling performer on the way out of WWE.
While Ricky Saints continues to establish himself in NXT, it seems that his main roster run is inevitable and could find foundation in some on-screen interactions with John Cena.
