Ahead of WWE moving into the end of the year, there could be some roster changes coming soon.

While an official WWE Draft 2025 has seemingly been scrapped, there are still some likely switches coming up between brands.

Here are nine WWE stars that could switch brands after WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1.

9. GUNTHER

WWE's GUNTHER

While GUNTHER hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since losing the World Heavyweight Championship to CM Punk at SummerSlam 2025 — he could be poised to make a big return soon.

After being described as “out of action indefinitely’, GUNTHER did take time off to sort out a legitimate nose issue that could require surgery but is expected to return in the near future.

Potentially returning in effort to claim the spot as John Cena’s final opponent in WWE, at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13, it could be that GUNTHER does so from SmackDown.

With very little specific build needed to capture the gravity of why any star would want to be John Cena’s final opponent, GUNTHER wouldn’t need any face-to-face showdowns on SmackDown to lead up to the bout.

8. Santos Escobar

WWE SmackDown star Santos Escobar

While he had most recently been appearing on SmackDown, after it was confirmed that Escobar had re-signed with WWE, some details emerged about his potential future plans.

With reports noting that he was due to a shift in character as well as a switch to the WWE Raw brand, it could definitely be that fans next see Santos Escobar on Netflix.

Also said to be planned to part ways with Angel & Berto, Escobar sounds as though he will be in singles competition when he does re-emerge.

With a ton of upside left in his character in terms of both in-ring abilities and intriguing stories with his former rivals like Tony D’Angelo or Rey Mysterio — Escobar could be poised for very big things in the near future.

7. Tiffany Stratton

After holding the WWE Women’s Championship throughout 2025 so far, it seems that it could be the end of Tiffy Time on SmackDown.

With Jade Cargill making a heel turn to attack Stratton, setting up their title bout at Saturday Night’s Main Event — it could be that a title change is coming soon and possibly, a brand switch for Stratton.

Able to kick up new feuds on WWE Raw, Stratton could also find herself with an important ally on Netflix.

Able to join forces with the likes of Nikki Bella, Stephanie Vaquer or Rhea Ripley — Stratton could go up against the dastardly Becky Lynch or Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane).

Drew McIntyre brings emotionally charged rivalries wherever he goes but it could be time for him to return to WWE Raw.

While McIntyre remains on his quest to de-throne Cody Rhodes on SmackDown at the minute, it could be that plans for him will shift in the coming months.

Able to return to the WWE Raw roster and wreck havoc once again, McIntyre could fill the role of top heel on Netflix that has been left vacant after Seth Rollins’ injury.

Potentially looking to take out either CM Punk or Jey Uso — depending on who wins the vacant WWE World Heavyweight Championship — McIntyre could make his way back to Mondays.

5. Austin Theory

While he was last seen on WWE Raw, it could be that there are big changes coming ahead for Austin Theory.

With Theory being rumored to be on the heel team for the upcoming Survivor Series WarGames, fan speculation kicked into overdrive that his return was imminent.

However after an injury has taken Seth Rollins out of action and shaken up the creative plans, it could be that Theory actually ends up re-emerging on SmackDown instead.

Able to return as a babyface or a heel, Theory has plenty of options on SmackDown for rivalries that won’t end up being contingent on The Vision storyline.

4. Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch, WWE Raw

While she has established herself on WWE Raw, it could be time for Becky Lynch to take her heelish antics over to SmackDown.

Since Seth Rollins’ injury has seemingly derailed some creative plans moving forward — including Lynch remaining affiliated with The Vision —

Mixing up the entire women’s division — including calling up talent from NXT is vital to keep from matches and storylines becoming needlessly repetitive.

Possibly taking up a rivalry with Michin, Candice LeRae or Nikki Cross — Lynch could continue to provide have engaging and interesting matches.

3. Street Profits

With the WWE Raw tag team division able to add a team or two, one duo that could switch brands are the Street Profits.

With a crowded tag team division full of excellence on SmackDown, the Street Profits have remained top performers who slip a bit outside of the spotlight.

Certainly able to take on AJ Styles & Dragon Lee for the WWE World Tag Team Championship over on WWE Raw, the move wouldn’t require a full heel turn but rather could come out of necessity.

With Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins able to lean into a non-traditional babyface role — demonstrating their willingness to do whatever it takes to win and justifying any misdeeds through explanation — it could capture a unique space in the tag team division.

2. Jimmy Uso

For a couple of months now, Jimmy Uso has been exclusively appearing on WWE Raw instead of SmackDown.

However, per WWE’s official website roster listings, he is still considered a SmackDown talent.

While he has effectively become a member of the Raw roster, the move has still yet to be made official.

If the Usos and Roman Reigns storyline is to continue unfolding on Raw, WWE should switch Uso to the red brand for good.

1. Kiana James

After being drafted to WWE Raw last year, Kiana James suffered a long-term injury and recently re-emerged on SmackDown alongside Giulia.

However, on WWE’s official website, James is still listed as a member of the Raw roster.

This one just seems like a formality, but technically James should have her move to SmackDown made official soon.
