WWE Crown Jewel 2025 takes place today from the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia.
In what has now become characteristic of the Paul Levesque era of WWE PLEs, the card is five matches deep.
While there’s plenty of potential for standout bouts on the show, several notable names are conspicuous by their absence.
Here are six WWE stars who won’t feature on the Crown Jewel card:
6. AJ Lee

AJ Lee made her long-awaited return to WWE last month after nearly a decade away, reuniting with her real-life husband CM Punk to face Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins.
Her comeback received a huge reaction, generating major buzz among WWE’s fanbase.
Given that Lee and Punk defeated Lynch and Rollins at Wrestlepalooza, it seemed likely that Lee would be next in line to challenge Lynch for the Intercontinental Title.
While that match may still be in the works, it won’t be happening at Crown Jewel — though we could very well see it take place at Survivor Series or the upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event.

5. LA Knight

LA Knight challenged for the World Title at Clash in Paris at the end of August in a four-way bout featuring champion Seth Rollins, CM Punk, and Jey Uso.
While suffering defeat, Knight has made it clear he remains firmly in the title picture, reiterating his ambitions on the 6 October edition of Raw.
Despite being one of WWE’s top babyfaces and a key figure in the ongoing world title scene, the 42-year-old is not featured on the Crown Jewel card in Perth.
However, with Survivor Series coming in November and the likelihood of him featuring in the WarGames main event, as well as getting a one-on-one title shot against Rollins soon, his omission here should not be seen as a slight.

4. Jey Uso

Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso has been one of the company’s most prominently featured stars throughout 2025.
However, he’s another top babyface absent from the Crown Jewel card in Perth.
Uso remains involved in several overlapping storylines on Raw, feuding in recent weeks with fellow babyface LA Knight and — as of the 6 October edition of Raw — now CM Punk, while also realigning with recently returned former faction leader Roman Reigns; it appears these storylines will soon converge.
Though not wrestling in Perth, it seems certain that Uso will play a major role at Survivor Series, likely featuring in the men’s WarGames match alongside Reigns, Punk and Knight.

3. CM Punk

On the subject of CM Punk, he’s another major name conspicuous by his absence from Crown Jewel.
Punk remains one of WWE’s biggest stars — quite possibly the most over babyface on the roster.
He has been feuding with Seth Rollins throughout 2025, and while that rivalry has been momentarily set aside for Crown Jewel, it’s expected to continue in the coming months, with a rumoured World Title shot at the next Saturday Night’s Main Event on 1 November.
Fans should also expect Punk to play a major role at Survivor Series, likely featuring in the men’s WarGames match.

2. Randy Orton

Recently on WWE programming, Randy Orton has formalised his previously informal alliance with Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes.
On the 3 October edition of SmackDown, in the build-up to Rhodes’ Champion vs. Champion clash with Seth Rollins at Crown Jewel, Orton teamed with Rhodes to take on Rollins’ faction members Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.
Nevertheless, despite this on-screen partnership, the 45-year-old has been left off the official card.
However, given his ongoing involvement in Rhodes’ storyline, it would not be surprising to see Orton in Perth — appearing during the main event between Rhodes and Rollins to play a decisive role.

1. Bron Breakker

It’s abundantly clear that WWE views Bron Breakker as their future top star — and this isn’t just mere speculation; it’s something Paul Heyman has repeatedly stated on WWE programming.
Yet, despite his current prominence, Breakker has been left off the official Crown Jewel card.
However, given his status as one of WWE’s most highly touted future main eventers, it seems unlikely he’ll be absent from the show entirely.
We could well see the 27-year-old interfere in either the “Australian Street Fight” between his tag partner Bronson Reed and Roman Reigns, or in the main event between faction leader Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes.
