WWE SmackDown continues to be a Friday night staple for fans but there could be some shake-ups to the show coming soon.
Without a traditional WWE Draft this year, stars have found themselves switched over to other brands at random, with Sami Zayn most recently arriving on the blue brand and LA Knight moving the other way to Raw.
Here are six more WWE stars who could soon leave SmackDown.
6. Jacob Fatu

With The Usos reuniting on WWE Raw and Sami Zayn moving to SmackDown – Jimmy & Jey could use a new ally.
Recently tagging with the brothers during house shows, it could be that Jacob Fatu is the perfect fit to depart SmackDown.
Potentially linking up with The Usos to continue to wage war on The Vision’s Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed – there could be even bigger plans ahead for Fatu in the future.
Able to be a formidable foe for the faction’s leader Seth Rollins – it could be that Jacob Fatu is headed for a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on WWE Raw before too long.

5. Nathan Frazer

One SmackDown star that could depart the brand without his current tag team could be Nathan Frazer.
Beginning on NXT as a singles star, Frazer would eventually link up with Axiom (formerly A-Kid in NXT UK) and go on to find success as a team.
Between a long reign as NXT Tag Team Champions to being drafted as a team to SmackDown, the duo fought through teases of a break-up on more than one occasion.
With both potentially able to benefit from a return to singles competition, Frazer going to WWE Raw could leave the door open for a reunion with mentor Seth Rollins.

4. Giulia & Kiana James

Current WWE United States Champion Giulia has gotten some representation on the blue brand as of late, with returning star Kiana James serving as her on-screen manager.
While Giulia has impressed during her time on SmackDown – there could be more interesting stories for her to tell on WWE Raw.
With a thriving women’s division that currently includes Asuka, Kairi Sane and IYO SKY – it would be great to see Giulia in the mix, a brand which may better suit her style.
Potentially able to join Asuka in her dastardly new attitude, Kiana James could still stick around as a manager and mouthpiece for both she and Giulia to take on babyfaces SKY and Sane.

3. Carmelo Hayes

After appearing on a recent episode of WWE NXT – Carmelo Hayes could benefit from leaving SmackDown for a bit.
Hayes appeared on NXT to reunite the Trick Melo Gang and hype up a future match pitting two generations of NXT tag teams against one another – Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams taking on Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa.
With the September 16 edition of NXT being branded as NXT Homecoming set to host the showdown, – perhaps for Hayes it would be a wise move to stick around on Tuesday nights.
Returning to NXT/TNA Wrestling to align with Trick Williams ahead of a main roster return could be hugely beneficial in reclaiming Melo’s cool and confident on-screen character.

2. Damian Priest

While Damian Priest is a fan favorite – his time on SmackDown has left some fans wondering if he was better off on WWE Raw.
Now that power couples Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch and CM Punk & AJ Lee are on top on WWE Raw – there is the perfect opportunity to bring back the Terror Twins if Priest makes the switch from SmackDown.
Reuniting with Rhea Ripley, there could be some fascinating feuds that pop up – including potential singles gold again for each.
Potentially more compelling together than apart with both somewhat getting lost in the shuffle of other storylines, Priest & Ripley could be a legendary alliance to come back together.

1. Shinsuke Nakamura

Perhaps more than any other, Shinsuke Nakamura could benefit from leaving SmackDown for another show.
Having been used infrequently as of late, it could be that Nakamura is more likely to pop-up outside of the company entirely than to make the leap to WWE Raw.
There has been little word on Nakamura’s contract status in WWE, however, given his absence, it isn’t difficult to imagine that he may move elsewhere.
If there is still a considerable amount of time on his contract, he could be better used on WWE Raw facing off against the likes of Finn Balor & Ilja Dragunov, or perhaps even having one last run in NXT, where he began his WWE journey.
