With only three weeks to go until WrestleMania 42, there could be some roster shake-ups after the big event across WWE Raw and SmackDown.
By the time the dust settles on WWE WrestleMania 42, there are several stars that could be ready for a brand new start on a different brand.
Here are six WWE stars that could be set to leave SmackDown after WrestleMania 42.
6. Charlotte Flair

A potential defection from SmackDown that could lead to an entirely new era for a veteran star might be swapping Charlotte Flair over to Raw on Netflix.
While she and Alexa Bliss have been on a solid run together as a team, it may be time to see Charlotte Flair take on new challengers on WWE Raw.
Able to feud with the likes of Bayley and Becky Lynch, Flair could also take aim at a variety of new talent on the main roster.
With several call-ups teased or expected from NXT, there could be the perfect time for a generational feud between “The Queen” and Sol Ruca or Jacy Jayne — there are plenty of options.
5. Sami Zayn

One potential flip that could be beneficial for a character could be Sami Zayn.
While his storyline on the Road to WrestleMania 42 continues to evolve, there could be a great opportunity for an emotional moment of either victory or defeat in Las Vegas to re-invigorate the character’s commitment.
Although Zayn captured the United States Championship from Carmelo Hayes during the March 27 edition of SmackDown, he didn’t have long before a new challenger emerged.
With Trick Williams set to take on Zayn for the newly won title at WrestleMania 42, it could end up that a loss in Las Vegas leads to a major pivot for Sami Zayn in the end.
4. Jade Cargill

A dominant presence wherever she may appear, it could be that Jade Cargill would benefit from flipping brands after this year’s WWE WrestleMania.
Facing off against Rhea Ripley for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 42, perhaps there could be a switch in the works.
Potentially sending Ripley over to SmackDown if she captures a victory, it could be that Cargill gets drafted to WWE Raw in exchange.
Able to start fresh feuds with new challengers, Cargill could certainly benefit from shaking up her list of opponents which at times has felt limited on the blue brand.

3. Aleister Black & Zelina

A dynamic duo on SmackDown as of late, the intriguing pairing of Aleister Black and Zelina Vega could make their mark on WWE Raw.
While some fans have already drawn comparison between the character of Black and former WWE star Karrion Kross (with his real-life wife and on-screen partner Scarlett), there could be some interesting ground left to cover.
With Black seemingly being successful in his efforts so far to re-inspire the more dastardly side of some characters including Randy Orton, perhaps he could bring his services to WWE Raw.
Able to sneak around backstage and approach a variety of characters to plant seeds of confusion, Black could engage in compelling feuds with CM Punk, LA Knight and Finn Balor.
2. Cody Rhodes

In an interesting turn of events, Cody Rhodes could find himself without a specific home on SmackDown if he isn’t victorious at WWE WrestleMania 42.
Potentially making his mark on WWE Raw in the second half of 2026, Rhodes could take respite from SmackDown but remain an integral character.
Looking to potentially start over on Netflix, Rhodes could find himself re-engaged in a feud with Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins or even in the crosshairs of CM Punk for the first time in a major way.
With plenty of opportunities on WWE Raw, it could make for an intriguing shake-up to see Rhodes start making more frequent appearances on Monday nights in order to delay a future rematch against Randy Orton.
1. Jordynne Grace

While Jordynne Grace has been impressive since making her main roster debut, she recently fell into trouble on SmackDown.
After suffering an injury during a dark match with Alba Fyre on March 6, Grace’s appearance in Las Vegas remains up in the air.
Potentially looking to rebrand entirely upon her return, a new home on WWE Raw could be the perfect pivot for the 30-year-old.
Bringing about a potential feud with the winner of the planned women’s Intercontinental Championship match between AJ Lee and Becky Lynch, Grace could get a post-injury refresh on Netflix.
