Since announcing their formal multi-year partnership in January 2025, TNA Wrestling’s relationship with WWE has proven a major boost for the promotion – raising interest in the product and driving up ticket sales.

This relationship was on full display at TNA’s most recent pay-per-view, Rebellion, which took place last Sunday and featured WWE stars throughout the card.

NXT’s Ethan Page featured in the main event, a three-way bout for Joe Hendry’s TNA World Championship – only for Trick Williams to spoil Hendry’s win – while NXT women’s teams, Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson and Gigi Dolin & Tatum Paxley competed in a four-way for the Knockouts Tag Team Titles.

From full-time signees like Nic Nemeth (WWE’s Dolph Ziggler), to guest appearances by WWE main roster stars, to NXT talent gaining valuable ring time, here are seven WWE names we could soon see competing in a TNA ring.

7. LA Knight

WWE star LA Knight

LA Knight has experienced an unprecedented rise to WWE stardom in recent years, capped off by a huge reaction at WrestleMania 41.

He first started to gain notoriety as one of pro-wrestling’s premier loud-mouths in TNA Wrestling as Eli Drake in 2015.

During a chaotic time for the company, marked by multiple name changes, he captured their World Championship in 2017.

With his stock higher than ever and TNA itself experiencing a successful period, could he return — just for one night — to the place where it all began?

6. Lexis King

WWE NXT star Lexis King

NXT’s Lexis King has shown undeniable charisma — perhaps unsurprising given he’s the son of Brian Pillman.

He’s been featured prominently on NXT television in recent weeks, holding the Heritage Cup and most recently challenging Ricky Starks for the North American Title.

While still developing in-ring, more experience could benefit King as he continues to round out his skill set before being called up to the WWE main roster.

Repeat appearances in TNA — a promotion that embraces strong character work — could offer him valuable ring time, perhaps even putting him in contention for the newly created International Championship held by Steve Maclin.

5. Natalya

WWE star Natalya

Long-time WWE star Natalya noted in a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet that she wanted to “wrestle everywhere.”

This meant outside of WWE, where she has worked exclusively since 2007.

She’s already begun doing just that, having a standout match over WrestleMania week at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport against Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling star Miyu Yamashita, and she’s also set to wrestle for the NWA at the legendary Crockett Cup on May 17 in Philadelphia’s iconic former ECW Arena.

Wanting to “wrestle everywhere” would lead one to suspect that, with the WWE and TNA relationship, we could see her across the ring from a Knockout sooner rather than later.

4. Hank Walker & Tank Ledger

At Stand and Deliver, NXT’s PLE over WrestleMania weekend, the tag titles changed hands when Hank and Tank defeated Nathan Frazer and Axiom in a well-received bout.

Still a work in progress, the duo have quickly become an exciting and well-honed team who could benefit from gaining further experience in a TNA ring.

Clashes with legendary veterans like The Hardy Boys, newly crowned champions The Nemeths, or high-energy show-stealers against The Rascalz all offer intriguing potential.

Appearances in TNA could only help sharpen their skills and showcase just how high their ceiling truly is before a potential arrival on the WWE main roster.

3. Omos

Towering 7’3” star Omos has been absent from WWE programming since competing in the 2024 Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal over a year ago.

Earlier this year, however, he was loaned to Pro Wrestling NOAH – which has essentially become WWE’s Japanese partner promotion – where he found success alongside Jack Morris, capturing the GHC Tag Team Titles and delivering on his potential as a dominant big man.

NOAH booked him effectively in a tag role, showcasing his size and presence while protecting his in-ring limitations.

With WWE showing little interest in bringing him back to television, TNA signing the giant star full-time could offer them something unique — perhaps serving as an intimidating heater for heel Tag Team Champions, The Nemeths.

2. The Miz

It was recently reported by Fightful that there had been initial plans to bring TNA World Heavyweight Champion Joe Hendry to WWE Raw in Glasgow.

However, the plans fell through after recently fired TNA Senior Vice President of Content, Distribution and Marketing, Ariel Schnerer, reportedly disagreed with their champion losing to The Miz.

With Hendry recently appearing at WrestleMania in a brief losing effort to Randy Orton — and taking two RKOs — it would seem WWE now owes both Hendry and TNA a favor.

Could that favor come in the form of The Miz appearing on Impact… and doing the job for Hendry?

1. AJ Styles

WWE’s AJ Styles first caught the attention of indie wrestling fans through his work in Ring of Honor and NWA Wildside at the turn of the new millennium, but his national breakout came in TNA Wrestling.

It was in TNA that the world saw Styles as a generational talent, helping to pioneer an advanced hybrid of high-flying and heavyweight wrestling.

The multi-time world champion left the company in 2014, signing with New Japan Pro Wrestling for a historic run that ultimately put him on WWE’s radar.

With recent talk of retirement, it’s a long shot that he’d end his career in TNA, but a one-night return — made possible by the WWE/TNA relationship — doesn’t seem entirely out of the question.
