With Finn Balor ousted from The Judgment Day on the March 9 episode of WWE Raw, it feels inevitable that the inaugural Universal Champion gets vengeance.
Able to build up his own squad of allies in order to challenge the collective force of The Judgment Day’s clubhouse, Finn Balor has some very intriguing options for recruits to a new faction.
Here are six WWE stars that could join a new Finn Balor faction that could take on The Judgment Day.
6. Lyra Valkyria
If Finn Balor is truly going to go up against The Judgment Day, his new faction would need to have some female muscle to join his squad.
Potentially joining forces with another Irish ace in Lyra Valkyria — the pair could form a powerful new alliance on WWE Raw.
Able to catapult Valkyria by not only giving her a solid shot at Liv Morgan, who could be Women’s World Champion post-Mania, but also bringing a new edge to her character.
Potentially setting up Lyra for a character shift that creates more depth than she has currently been able to show, there could be a brand new era coming for Lyra Valkyria.
5. Rhea Ripley
One member of the WWE Raw women’s roster that Finn Balor would certainly have to consider despite her current sojourn to SmackDown would be Rhea Ripley.
Perhaps the only way to eliminate Dominik and Liv’s version of The Judgment Day would be to reunite the original configuration of the group.
Bringing Rhea Ripley on board to his brand new faction, Finn Balor could definitely find a fierce challenger for Liv Morgan moving forward with no shortage of bad blood between the pair.
Reuniting for an OG Judgment Day reboot, the duo could also recruit Damian Priest to bring the group full circle.
4. El Hijo del Vikingo
After taking on Dominik Mysterio in a brutal No DQ match at AAA Reyes de Reyes 2026, El Hijo del Vikingo could be the perfect addition to a new faction helmed by Finn Balor.
After losing the bout, Vikingo can no longer challenge for the AAA Mega Championship while “Dirty Dom” holds the title.
Perhaps instead looking towards main roster goals, an alliance with Finn Balor could launch Vikingo into a big storyline on WWE Raw.
Able to benefit from participating in the group but then also return to AAA to challenge for the Mega Championship whenever Mysterio drops it — these could be the perfect circumstances for a fun crossover.

3. Royce Keys
After making a big debut in the Royal Rumble 2026, Royce Keys could fit in nicely with several current WWE factions.
Although he could definitely link up with The Vision, WWE may rather keep the former Powerhouse Hobbs a babyface, leading to him ultimately getting snatched up by Finn Balor.
Able to serve as the enforcer for the group, debuting on WWE Raw under the banner of a Balor led group could be the perfect fit.
While future plans for Royce Keys remain a bit in flux as he has featured in several dark matches across both WWE Raw and SmackDown despite not having made his TV debut yet.
2. Shinsuke Nakamura
A WWE star with plenty of shared history with Finn Balor dating back decades is Shinsuke Nakamura.
Likely able to swap brands to WWE Raw in order to join forces with his former NJPW colleague, the move could give Nakamura a brand new storyline.
Able to contribute to the faction as a legendary presence in the group, the duo of Nakamura and Balor would certainly set them up for big success.
Positioning Nakamura on WWE Raw and potentially putting him in the crosshairs of “The Career Killer” GUNTHER in the future — the move could make sense.
1. Dorian Van Dux
One NXT recruit who could end up making a debut on the main roster in lieu of spending a long spell in NXT might be Dorian Van Dux.
Previously known for his indie work in the UK under the moniker Mike D Vecchio, the Belgian star is well known for his time in the German promotion Westside Xtreme Wrestling.
Potentially linking up with Finn Balor on the main roster, Van Dux could make a major impact with his hard hitting style as Balor’s heaviest hand.
Able to not only fend off potential attacks coming Balor’s direction, Van Dux could end up kicking up a great singles feud with former Balor protégé JD McDonagh.
