When looking at the free agency market and WWE NXT, there could be quite a few more names that could make their way to the blue brand that could have a similar effect on the overall program moving forward.

Here are eight new WWE stars to potentially join SmackDown.

8. Jordynne Grace

At WWE NXT Battleground, Stephanie Vaquer defeated Jordynne Grace to retain the NXT Women’s Championship.

This surprised many fans as it seemed like Grace could become the next champion after arriving on WWE NXT early in 2025.

It has been reported that the former TNA Knockouts World Champion could potentially make her way to the WWE main roster over on the SmackDown brand.

Adding something quite unique to the current SmackDown women’s division, Grace could bring so much to the table that is not currently featured on the blue brand right now and could immediately stand out on day one.

Much like Ricky Saints, Saraya recently left All Elite Wrestling, announcing her departure in March.

With her star power and veteran experience, there are numerous roles that Saraya could potentially play in the current landscape of the WWE women’s division.

The former Paige would be a very timely signing with WWE Evolution set to take place in July and could come into SmackDown where she could be anything from an in-ring performer to an authority figure for the show.

Since signing with WWE in 2022, Lola Vice instantly got attention by making a quick transition to pro wrestling after several years as an MMA fighter.

With her background in mixed martial arts and eye catching looks, Vice has been seen as a potential breakout star on the NXT brand.

While she has not been able to capture championship gold, Lola has remained in the spotlight throughout her three year run in the company.

Debuting in 2021, Tony D’Angelo was introduced as one of the faces of the WWE NXT 2.0 era of the brand.

Despite humble beginnings, “The Don of NXT” has become one of the more decorated talents on the brand, winning the NXT Heritage Cup, North American and Tag Team Championships.

While it looks like he will continue his rivalry with Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, there isn’t much left for D’Angelo to do on NXT and he is more than ready for the main roster.

Heading to SmackDown, Tony D has always felt like someone who could excel on the bigger stage where he could square off with the likes of Andrade, Carmelo Hayes and The Miz.

The three-time TNA X-Division Champion has proven time and time again that he can deliver and deserves an opportunity at a larger company.

While he may start on the NXT brand, Ace would not look out of place immediately coming to the WWE main roster and could truly be thrusted into the spotlight on the SmackDown brand.

2. Ricky Saints

WWE NXT star Ricky Saints

On the May 27 edition of WWE NXT, Ethan Page defeated Ricky Saints to win the NXT North American Championship.

After suffering his first loss since signing with WWE in February, many fans have questioned what is going to be Ricky’s future on the NXT brand.

Although Saints could immediately be placed in the main event scene on NXT, it may be time for Ricky to make his way to WWE main roster where his talking ability and character work would be quite fitting.

Considering he reportedly signed a contract for more money than the usual NXT deal, Saints may have finished up a short stint on the brand before he could bring a lot to the table over on SmackDown.

Becoming the first active WWE star to win TNA gold, Williams has a huge opportunity to showcase himself as a top heel in a different promotion.

This could be seen as one final audition for the two-time NXT Champion to show he is more than ready for the WWE main roster stage.

SmackDown brings so many different potential roles for Trick to play from reuniting with Carmelo Hayes to being immediately positioned as a main event level talent against the likes of Randy Orton or Cody Rhodes.
