WWE SmackDown has added quite a few new stars into the mix throughout 2025 so far.
From Rey Fenix to Aleister Black, these new talents have bolstered the depth of the entire roster and changed the landscape of the brand.
With the likes of Fraxiom getting called up from NXT following WrestleMania 41, there should be plenty more competitors from within the company and outside of it that may come in to shake things up as well.
Here are seven new WWE stars to potentially join SmackDown.
7. Jeff Cobb

At WWE Backlash 2025, Jacob Fatu defeated LA Knight, Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre to retain the United States Championship.
This victory came as a result of Solo Sikoa introducing former NJPW star Jeff Cobb to WWE for the first time in an attack on Knight.
This should position Cobb on the blue brand moving forward to work alongside Sikoa and Fatu in what was once known as The New Bloodline.
While there is some dissension between Fatu and Solo over the past few months, the insertion of Cobb should bring a lot of shakeups on SmackDown.

6. Ethan Page

Since arriving in WWE back in 2024, Ethan Page has been one of the fastest rising stars over on the NXT brand.
The former AEW star won the NXT Championship less than two months after his debut and has remained one of the brand’s top stars since then.
“All Ego” possesses the in-ring ability combined with the talking skills and character work necessary to be ready for the WWE main roster.
Heading to the SmackDown brand, Page could become one of the main heels who could contend for the United States Championship and potentially rise up the ladder to the main event scene.

5. Saraya (Paige)

After a three year run with All Elite Wrestling, Saraya announced her departure from the promotion.
The former AEW Women’s World Champion has made it no secret that she is open to making a WWE return in the least bit.
With AEW clearing her to compete, it may have opened the door for WWE to do the same to allow Saraya to finally her first match back in the company since 2017.
Signing with the WWE SmackDown brand, the former Paige could offer some much needed star power to the women’s division and mix it up with the likes of Naomi, Jade Cargill and Chelsea Green.

4. Lola Vice

The NXT brand has assembled one of the best women’s divisions in all of the WWE and possibly the entire pro wrestling world.
With the likes of Giulia, Zaria, Jordynne Grace and Stephanie Vaquer coming into the fold over the past year, some of the homegrown talent have had to take a backseat.
One such star who might benefit from making the move to the WWE main roster is Lola Vice.
Considering her MMA background and undeniable charisma, it feels like Vice could be a better fit over on SmackDown than NXT in the long-term.

3. Trick Williams

There might not be another WWE NXT star who has been mentioned more for a main roster call-up than Trick Williams.
Over the course of the past four years, Williams has grown before the fans’ eyes, coming to NXT during the 2.0 era as a sidekick to Carmelo Hayes and growing into a multi-time champion.
After two reigns with the NXT Championship, Williams feels ready made for the main roster and could be a wonderful addition to the SmackDown brand.
One of NXT’s most popular stars in recent memory, Trick has developed into someone who would not look out of place at all alongside the likes of Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton or Drew McIntyre on the blue brand.

2. The Righteous (Vincent & Dutch)

At the beginning of May, The Righteous requested and were granted their release from All Elite Wrestling.
Following a two-year stint with the promotion, the former ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions look like they might be destined for bigger and better things outside of AEW.
The Righteous have distinct and entertaining characters that immediately stand out as soon as fans see them.
Coming to WWE and joining the SmackDown brand, Vincent and Dutch could add to the already stacked tag team division and bring something completely unique to the table.

1. Stephanie Vaquer

When looking up and down the NXT roster, there is no other star more ready made and tailor made for the WWE main roster than Stephanie Vaquer.
After making her main roster debut on the Raw After WrestleMania 41, it became clear that “La Primera” is among the very best women’s wrestlers in the entire company.
Despite recently winning the NXT Women’s Championship in March, Vaquer doesn’t seem long for the brand and should be on either Raw or SmackDown.
The SmackDown brand needs a name of the caliber of Vaquer who could become a major star for the women’s division and present several different dream matches against the likes of Tiffany Stratton, Alexa Bliss or Charlotte Flair.
