While WWE fans continue to await a formal WWE Draft 2025, perhaps there will just be more random moves between brands.

With talent seemingly moving about between WWE Raw, SmackDown and NXT over recent weeks, there could be more WWE Raw stars headed to SmackDown soon.

Here are seven WWE Raw stars that could switch brands to join SmackDown.

7. Austin Theory

After long teasing an eventual big blowup between the members of A-Town Down Under, Austin Theory and Grayson Waller broke up very quietly.

Mentioned by Waller in a backstage segment, it was revealed that Austin Theory was out of action due to injury and the duo broke up.

In the time since, Waller has gone on to join forces with heels The New Day – potentially leaving the door open for a big change for Theory upon his return.

With fans still waiting to see Austin Theory turn babyface, maybe he will accomplish that switch with a surprise return to SmackDown.

6. PENTA

With Andrade having departed WWE, perhaps Rey Fenix is looking for a new tag team partner on WWE SmackDown.

While they have yet to reunite in WWE, Penta and Rey Fenix have wrestled as the tag team the Lucha Bros in promotions worldwide, earning championships in AAA, ROH, TNA Wrestling and AEW.

If PENTA were to switch brands to join Rey Fenix and reunite their tag team – there could be an iconic run from the pair ahead.

With the Wyatt Sicks seemingly a perfect fit for AAA, perhaps it is only a matter of time before the Lucha Bros come knocking for the WWE Tag Team Championship.

5. Liv Morgan

Liv Morgan has been off of WWE TV since June 2025 after she picked up and injury and vacated her half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles to Roxanne Perez – albeit without her permission.

Although she remains out of action due to injury now, when she returns perhaps a fresh start on SmackDown would be in order.

With reports that she is intended to make her return to action as a babyface character, there could be some unfinished business with the likes of Roxanne Perez or Becky Lynch on WWE Raw that could make this switch a bit less probable.

However it certainly remains possible with Morgan able to serve as another anchor to the sparse SmackDown women’s division.

4. AJ Styles

With AJ Styles becoming a hot topic in recent weeks regarding what his future steps might look like – one option would be to have him switch brands to SmackDown.

Offering up a fresh roster of opponents, Styles could also end up growing a new crossover partnership.

With TNA Wrestling already crossing over frequently with NXT – an AJ Styles connection on SmackDown could boast similar opportunities.

AJ Styles taking on the likes of Carmelo Hayes, Santos Escobar or even feuding with the Wyatt Sicks could lead to some legendary stories on SmackDown.

3. Bayley

WWE's Bayley

Now that Bayley has made her return on WWE Raw, there is clearly something different about the fan favorite veteran.

Appearing to be suffering from a crisis involving being trapped between two personalities – Bayley seems torn between being her classic babyface iteration ‘Hugger Bayley’ and the heelish and insulting ‘Ding Dong Hello Bayley’.

While she seems involved in a storyline with Lyra Valkyria at the minute, she may end up wanting a brand new start with whichever version she ends up assuming.

Bayley could end up having a monster run as a heel on SmackDown, a division that is currently devoid of top baddies with the exception of Nia Jax.

2. Sheamus

After losing the Donnybrook match to Rusev at Clash in Paris 2025, Sheamus has yet to return to in-ring competition.

Potentially marking a move to SmackDown, there could be new opportunities for not only rivalries but potential alliances.

Sheamus could stick as a babyface and begin having a feud against Solo Sikoa and the MFTs or even turn heel and align with the dastardly Drew McIntyre in hunting Cody Rhodes.

While Sheamus could definitely align with former foe Rusev on WWE Raw, it might be best for him to get a fresh start on SmackDown.

1. Rhea Ripley

One WWE star that could benefit from shaking up their brand affiliation is Rhea Ripley.

While she has remained a staple on WWE Raw for quite some time, perhaps mixing up her opponents and goals could end up working out for the Eradicator.

Putting her in the hunt for a whole new division of WWE women, Ripley could find herself just as easily engaged in a rivalry with Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship as she could with Giulia over the United States Championship.

Potentially able to make a big impact on SmackDown, Rhea Ripley would be a huge addition to the blue brand’s women’s roster.
