The show will celebrate the one year anniversary of Raw airing on the platform, meaning there will likely be some shocks and surprises on this episode.

Here’s our predicted card for what should be a major edition of WWE Raw.

CM Punk (c) vs. Bron Breakker – World Heavyweight Championship

There is already one match known for the first episode of WWE Raw in 2026 after a title bout has already been announced.

Announced via a spicy in-ring segment from Bron Breakker, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship will be on the line on the first anniversary of WWE Raw on Netflix.

Defending the title against Bron Breakker, CM Punk will definitely need to keep his head on swivel with The Vision faction certainly to be at ringside.

With Bronson Reed and Logan Paul joining Breakker in running roughshod over the WWE Raw roster, there could also be a reveal regarding the masked mystery man.

Fatal Four-Way For WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship

One way to pack a ton of star power into a match would be a fatal four-way for the women’s tag title featuring the champs the Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane)

Able to feature many of WWE’s top stars all at once, the bout could also serve as a tipping point for storylines moving forward.

With Charlotte Flair featuring in the WrestleMania 42 adverts in the absence of Alexa Bliss, it certainly seems as though there is a chance their partnership is set to end in the near future.

Potentially seeing Bliss turn on Flair, the bout could also see the dissolution of Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY who have been an enjoyable pair but could possibly have run their course as fun friends when each is seeking their own singles acclaim.

The Usos vs. The New Day

Reuniting on-screen and already making their intentions about the WWE World Tag Team Championship clear, The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) seem likely to have a match on the first WWE Raw of 2026.

Potentially facing off against The New Day, the pairs could be fighting for the title if it has already changed hands or more likely, going to war over the right to become the number one contenders to the titles.

With a potential surprise interference in the bout with the shock return of Matt & Jeff Hardy to WWE, it would be an even more fun showcase of some of the best WWE tag teams of all time.

Kicking off 2026 with big surprise returns, it would be a very fun first anniversary edition of WWE Raw on Netflix to see multiple nostalgic favorites come ‘home’ to WWE.

Return Of Bianca Belair

After being out of action since WrestleMania 41, it could be possible that Bianca Belair returns to WWE screens in the near future.

with her injury ending up being more complex than initially thought, her time away from in-ring action has been longer than first expected.

However, with WrestleMania season looking to gear up in the near future it seems as though perhaps the EST of WWE could be making her way back into action.

Potentially returning to WWE Raw, there is also seemingly some unfinished business for Belair on SmackDown in the form of Jade Cargill — so perhaps her return will arrive later in the first week of 2026.

Chris Jericho vs. AJ Styles

While this match would have seemed unlikely when WWE Raw debuted on Netflix this past January, there seems to be a very different landscape moving into 2026.

Potentially re-signing with WWE, Chris Jericho could make his return to the company seemingly as early as the January 5 edition of WWE Raw with reports indicating that his AEW contract is ending in 2025.

While AJ Styles is reportedly wrapping up his contract with WWE, there may be a slim margin by which Jericho and Styles could overlap.

Able to run it back the pair of legendary stars could really just have a match based in mutual respect rather than particular animosity with both fan favorites able to enjoy the warm reception of the audience.

Maxxine Dupri (c) vs. Roxanne Perez – Intercontinental Championship

Maxxine Dupri, WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion

With the Women’s Intercontinental Championship currently being held by Maxxine Dupri, she hasn’t been seen in in-ring action since her vignettes featuring herself training with Nattie have aired.

Potentially debuting a brand new and gritty version of Dupri in advance of the new year, this bout could end up being far less straightforward than it seems.

Possibly even leading to a victory for Dupri in order to cement her Championship, there could be an intriguing betrayal up ahead.

Leaving the perfect space for either Nattie or AJ Lee to full turn heel on Maxxine and attack her after her legitimizing victory, there may be some fascinating twists and turns still left to come for the women’s IC title.
