With the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony coming up in a few months, we only know of one inductee that will be celebrated at the event so far.
Joining Stephanie McMahon in being inducted this year, there could be familiar faces from the not so distant past — the PG Era of WWE.
Here are six WWE PG era stars that could be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame 2026.
6. AJ Lee

Being the face of the anti-diva during the height of that era, AJ Lee’s groundswell of support from fans came due to her being so different from everyone else around her in the division at the time.
Certainly unafraid of conflict even with the most powerful of foes back in the day and now in her second run in WWE, Lee’s induction could be a fun way to interweave a current storyline into the Hall of Fame ceremony.
While the event sometimes lacks the ‘can’t miss’ quality of the weekend’s other offerings, perhaps having a thread through the current storylines through AJ Lee could make the event even more intriguing.
With AJ perhaps likely to finally face off with Becky Lynch one-on-one in Las Vegas, we could see “The Man” crash her celebration at the Hall of Fame.

5. The Miz

One WWE star that made a big impact on the PG Era and will undoubtedly be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in the future is The Miz.
The two-time WWE Grand Slam Champion, The Miz might be a stretch for induction as early as 2026 but there might end up being a very good reason to do so.
With several WWE legends seemingly on the verge of retirement in the near future, potentially flipping the expectation to see The Miz inducted before exiting the company could be an interesting twist.
Being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame but continuing to compete is nothing new — ask Rey Mysterio — however, The Miz could take it as a unique opportunity to kick off an impressive retirement arc in the years to come.

4. John Cena

While it may be too soon for some, it definitely could come to pass that John Cena is inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2026.
Perhaps looking to capitalize on the recent successful retirement run of John Cena, perhaps WWE will celebrate the company’s “Greatest of All Time”.
With a number of compelling potential names that could do the induction speech at his big ceremony, WWE could also choose to delay Cena’s induction until WrestleMania 42 in Riyadh and shift focus to another worth star to headline this year.
Able to bring a major focus to WWE whenever the honor does take place, John Cena is certainly a shoo-in to be a first ballot inductee in the future.

3. Sheamus

In another WWE Hall of Fame induction that is both well deserved and could be turned into an interesting storyline is Sheamus.
With the longtime WWE star contributing a vast amount to the industry during his almost 20-year tenure in the company, similarly to John Cena before his Intercontinental Title win in November — he continues to chase his first WWE Grand Slam.
Potentially incorporating his chase to capture the Intercontinental Championship in the future with his induction, there could be some fascinating stories that spring forth.
While Sheamus is currently out of action due to injury, perhaps by the time WrestleMania 42 rolls around he would be able to make a big return.

2. Dolph Ziggler

While he may have departed from WWE, there is a solid case to be made that the PG-Era career of Dolph Ziggler is worthy of induction into the WWE Hall of Fame.
When looking overall at the time period, Ziggler entertained inside the ring like no other and was frequently selflessly involved in big moments for other performers.
Going on to find acclaim after his WWE departure in TNA Wrestling, the induction could also serve as an important crossover point with the company during WrestleMania 42 season.
With Nemeth able to represent his current brand TNA Wrestling while being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame 2026, it could continue to strengthen the partnership between entities in addition to honoring the star.

1. Batista

In a pick that blends through eras, Batista comes from a period of both Ruthless Aggression and WWE PG.
After being announced as a headliner for the WWE Hall of Fame induction Class of 2020 ended up not coming to happen due to the pandemic, nut he and WWE has yet to re-schedule.
With Batista not only moving forward from his role in WWE to take on major Hollywood acting ones, he has continued to feature in blockbuster franchises.
Making for a complicated schedule, it could be that 2026 is a year that the stars could align for Batista to finally be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
