With no official WWE Draft in 2025, there seems to already be movement in WWE during the first week of 2026.
With NXT prospects being revealed as having signed to the main roster, teased via vignettes or moves that could prove to be total surprises — there are some WWE NXT stars that seem poised to depart in the near future.
Here are seven WWE NXT stars that are set to leave the show.
7. Je’Von Evans
On the January 5 edition of WWE Raw, there was a major announcement regarding fan favorite from NXT, Je’Von Evans.
Officially signing with Adam Pearce and the WWE Raw brand, Je’Von Evans seems poised to depart NXT.
Possibly still set to appear for some sort of wrap up segment at New Year’s Evil, it could also fit for Evans to simply disappear onto the main roster.
Having been defeated by Ricky Saints in his last bout on the brand that aired on December 23, Evans doesn’t appear poised to look back as he has already had numerous bouts against GUNTHER at WWE Holiday Live house shows.

6. Brinley Reece
In a case of an NXT star that has announced her own departure in the new year, Brinley Reece has confirmed her time with WWE has come to an end.
Primarily featuring on WWE Evolve, Reece had not competed since March 2025, with her last match taking place against Karmen Petrovic on an NXT Live Event.
Taking to social media, Reece revealed to her fans that she had enjoyed her time in WWE that her wrestling journey with the company had come to an end.
While she referenced experiencing challenging injuries during her time, Reece didn’t rule out wrestling entirely in the message so there could be more to come from the star.

5. Oba Femi
It certainly seems that a call-up for NXT Champion Oba Femi to the main roster is imminent in 2026.
With teaser vignettes airing for him on both WWE Raw (January 5) and SmackDown (January 2) it would certainly seem Femi is on his way out.
Interestingly with Oba Femi facing TNA Wrestling star Leon Slater at New Years Evil, it could end up that his departure leads to a shake-up to NXT.
With TNA Wrestling Thursday Night iMPACT! set to make a series debut on the AMC Network on January 15 — perhaps there is a major new player looking to capture the NXT Championship in 2026 from Slater.

4. Jordynne Grace
After already making two appearances in the Royal Rumble, perhaps this January in Riyadh, Jordynne Grace will enter the match as a main roster member.
Joining NXT from TNA Wrestling where she had already had a successful run including holding the TNA Knockouts Championship, she brings veteran experience.
Proving to be a selfless performer during her time on NXT so far, Jordynne Grace has had meaningful feuds while also managing to remain strong in defeat.
Hopefully able to go to the main roster and experience a win streak, Jordynne Grace could become a major player on WWE Raw or SmackDown.

3. Ethan Page
With a built in storyline awaiting him on SmackDown, it would seem that Ethan Page could be on his way out of NXT.
Since his partnership with Chelsea Green has become a big success, it would make complete sense to see Page depart sooner rather than later.
While Green recently lost her United States Championship on SmackDown, Page continues to hold the NXT North American Championship — a detail that could be ending soon.
With Tony D’Angelo having made a big return to NXT and targeting Page, it could be that there is a showdown coming between the two that could be a loser leaves NXT match.

2. Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley & Lainey Reed)
While it remains to be seen if one, two or all three members of Fatal Influence gets called up to the main roster, there is a case to be made for each.
With Jacy Jayne continuing her domination in NXT, she has held the NXT Women’s Championship twice in 2025, in addition to carrying the TNA Knockouts title this year as well.
Continuing to make an impression with their solid in-ring skills and well defined character, both Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley would make total sense to see head straight to the top of the women’s tag team division on the main roster.
With Lainey Reed also boasting impressive in-ring skills after a relatively brief time competing in the ring, it could be that the trio ends up continuing to gel together on the main roster.

1. Trick Williams
One NXT star that has seemingly already departed the brand albeit not officially is Trick Williams.
After a monster run in TNA Wrestling and holding his self-proclaimed Trick-N-A Championship in 2025, Williams has his sights set on new challenges on the main roster.
Already making a huge appearance on the first edition of SmackDown of the new year on January 2 to step up to Sami Zayn — it would seem that Trick Williams’ days in NXT are over.
While his roster page continues to list NXT (at least at time of writing, as does Je’Von Evans’), it seems every likelihood that Williams will be officially announced as signed to SmackDown soon.
