With WWE Survivor Series 2025 fast approaching, there could be some big name WWE legends making appearances at the event.
From a pair that are potentially set to re-sign with WWE to another duo that could show up just to acknowledge career achievements at past iterations of the event — there are some fan favorites that could make an appearance in San Diego for the event.
Here are five legends that could appear at Survivor Series 2025.
5. Matt & Jeff Hardy
With their contracts with TNA Wrestling reportedly ending in the near future, it could be that Matt and Jeff Hardy make a surprise appearance at Survivor Series 2025.
After being shown taking in SummerSlam 2025 from the crowd, perhaps the Hardy Boyz will be on hand to take in the big event live in San Diego.
Possibly leading to a confrontation with any number of pairs from the current WWE tag team division, there could be an inkling of what future program lies ahead for the Hardy Boyz if they make the return to WWE.
With the ability to have a massive three-way feud between The New Day, The Hardy Boyz and The Usos over the distinction of being WWE’s best tag team of all time — perhaps 2026 is set for some major action.

4. The Undertaker
One legend that could make an appearance at the event without needing any storyline integration is The Undertaker.
Celebrating 35 years of the Undertaker, WWE could certainly have a segment at Survivor Series 2025 honoring the star.
The Undertaker debuted on November 22, 1990, at Survivor Series, making an appearance from the WWE Hall of Famer at this year’s event make sense even in a standalone moment.
Possibly announcing the attendance figure for the event, The Undertaker will surely be acknowledged at the event in some way.

WWE Hall of Famer Brie Bella may have a very good reason to make a return to WWE at Survivor Series 2025.
Hosted in the Bellas hometown of San Diego, California there is a major moment happening for Nikki at the event.
With Nikki Bella set to take on Stephanie Vaquer for the WWE Women’s World Championship, she could be poised to bring home her first WWE title in nearly a decade.

2. The Rock
A very big surprise appearance that would shock San Diego fans at Survivor Series 2025 could be a return from The Rock.
With no follow up appearances from The Final Boss since his role in the Elimination Chamber shocking heel turn of John Cena, there are some lingering questions.
Potentially popping up to shock Petco Park, The Rock could shed some additional light on the happenings between himself and John Cena.
Wrapping up the storyline between the two — or teasing future conflict in the boardroom, it would be nice to see The Rock bid farewell to John Cena ahead of the 17x Champion’s retirement.

1. Stone Cold Steve Austin
One WWE legend with a storied career specifically at the Survivor Series event that could always pop up for the sake of nostalgia is Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Survivor Series 1997 is often remembered for a little fracas called ‘The Montreal Screwjob’ that ended the night between Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels but another Hart was in action as well.
Owen Hart faced off against Stone Cold Steve Austin for the Intercontinental Championship at the event which marked Austin’s return to action after suffering a broken neck during a match with Hart at SummerSlam 1997.
Returning only three months later, Austin would reclaim the Intercontinental Championship in a winning effort over Owen Hart.
