With Saturday Night’s Main Event set to be the last special event before the Royal Rumble 2026, there could be some surprises in store.
Since previous editions of Saturday Night’s Main Event have hosted some throwback appearances, there could be a few more WWE legends making their way back to WWE for the show.
Here are six potential WWE legends that could make returns at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
6. Kurt Angle
One WWE legend that is always enjoyable for fans to see on-screen is Kurt Angle.
With Angle recently getting a bit more into the spotlight with several on-screen appearances in 2025, perhaps this first Saturday Night’s Main Event of 2026 could see him return.
Since Angle has taken up color commentary for Real American Freestyle Wrestling already, perhaps he could lend his voice to the event.
Able to give unique perspective on any of the night’s big bouts, Angle could be a great addition to the special night in Montreal.
