On July 12, AEW hosts its annual flagship event, All In – with three big WWE events taking place the same weekend.
This year’s event marks the first time it will be held in a stadium on US soil, and it’s already tracking to be the company’s most successful show outside of the two Wembley events in the UK, with over 20,000 fans expected at Globe Life Field in Texas.
Given the show’s success, it’s likely we’ll see some surprises — perhaps even appearances from legendary wrestling figures.
Here are six WWE legends who could make guest appearances.
6. Bryan Danielson
Former AEW and WWE World Champion Bryan Danielson has not appeared on AEW programming since being beaten by Jon Moxley for the title at WrestleDream last year and being “retired” from full-time competition.
He did, however, recently appear at Arena Mexico on ROH programming — coming out to defend CMLL’s Blue Panther and getting physical, hitting a Busaiku Knee on Shane Taylor.
Danielson clearly has unfinished business with Moxley – could we see this play out in Texas?
Perhaps we could see this AEW and WWE legend appear at All In, getting involved in the main event between Moxley and Adam Page.

5. Mick Foley
Few could argue Mick Foley’s legendary status in both WWE and the wider pro-wrestling world — from WCW to ECW to Japan.
Given his influence on the industry, it’s perhaps a surprise that he has yet to appear in AEW.
The 60-year-old recently spoke positively about AEW in an interview — calling it “enjoyable” – possibly opening the door for an appearance.
While long retired from the ring, an on-screen role behind the commentary desk or as a mentor — akin to the role Arn Anderson played for Cody Rhodes — could all begin at All In.

4. Lita
Since AEW announced its biggest show ever to take place on American soil, WWE responded by scheduling three PLEs for the same weekend.
This continues WWE’s ongoing tactic of counter-programming their rival — though ticket sales have raised questions about how successful that strategy is, particularly for the return of the all-women’s Evolution PLE on July 13.
Evolution is set to feature WWE legend Trish Stratus challenging for the WWE Women’s Title, with a host of other returning stars expected for the announced battle royal.
But imagine if AEW pulled off the ultimate coup — having Stratus’ contemporary and fellow WWE icon Lita appear as a surprise entrant in the All In Casino Gauntlet.

3. Beth Phoenix
At All In, both the men’s and women’s Casino Gauntlet matches are expected to feature surprise entrants.
One name who could appear in the women’s match is Beth Phoenix, a former three-time Women’s Champion.
Phoenix hasn’t wrestled since 2023 but is a free agent — and also the real-life wife of AEW star Adam Copeland (Cope/Edge).

2. Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts
Jake “The Snake” Roberts has not been seen on AEW programming since last year, when he aligned with Rush and La Facción Ingobernable.
Recent heart surgery explains the 70-year-old’s absence from the company.
A WWE Hall of Famer, Roberts remains one of Texas’ most iconic wrestling figures.
With All In Texas taking place in his home state, a return — perhaps accompanying Rush in the Casino Battle Royal — seems a distinct possibility.

1. Sean Waltman
Sean Waltman is one of the most iconic stars of the WWE Attitude Era.
There was speculation two years ago, with Waltman’s former DX faction partner Billy Gunn noting that AEW had attempted to bring him in — though nothing came to fruition.
While he hasn’t wrestled in three years since feuding with Joey Janela in GCW, the 52-year-old recently appeared on TNA‘s Rebellion pay-per-view accompanying The Rascalz — where he got physical in the match.
Could we see Waltman at All In, brought in as a guest entrant in the Casino Battle Royal?
