Next week on April 26, the 18th Draft in WWE history kicks off, with a drastic reshuffling of talent always expected.
The WWE Draft is always a time when the unexpected can happen and this year is certainly no different.
Stars from SmackDown, RAW and NXT are eligible for this year’s WWE Draft, adding to the uncertainty as to where people will land.
In addition, it is possible that stars from around the world could turn up to complete WWE’s main roster.
As it is time to shake things up again, we take a look at some free agents that would simply make the most sense coming to Raw and SmackDown at this time.
5. Kamille

After years in the NWA, Kamille has been a free agent since late 2023.
It’s a massive surprise that the longest reigning NWA Women’s Champion has not been picked up yet by either WWE or AEW.
This could be an indicator that WWE just might have been waiting for the right time to debut the mountain of a woman on either Raw or SmackDown.
The “Brickhouse” would help to establish the Women’s Division as one of the greatest in the world.
Imagine the dream matches against Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair and Jade Cargill. She could be a force to be reckoned with.

4. Primo & Epico

Potentially, Carlito is the unluckiest member of the LWO. First, everyone thought he would be teaming with Rey Mysterio at WrestleMania against Santos Escobar and Dominik Mysterio, but then Rey picked Dragon Lee.
Lee wasn’t even in the LWO at the time and this wasn’t the first time Rey picked Dragon Lee over Carlito either.
Then when Lee got hurt before the show of shows, Andrade replaced Lee. Once again Rey Mysterio stole Carlito his WrestleMania moment.
Maybe it is time for Carlito to be drafted away from the LWO and form his on faction with his family: The Colons. This would be the first time all three Colons were able to team in WWE and a way to boost the growing Tag Team Division.

3. Shelton Benjamin

Much like Carlito, The Gold Standard was served some injustice. He never got his “Ain’t No Stopping Me” Theme back, even though he wanted to.
Then his 20th in-ring Anniversary was moved to WWE Main Event and all he was was a 2-minute promo. Certainly, not the way to treat a man who was part of the OVW “Golden Class” alongside Randy Orton, John Cena and Batista.
Despite being let go in September, Benjamin would fare pretty well in the new era of WWE and is still yet to commit to another company.
Also, he could put his former Tag Team Partner Chad Gable’s new evil ways to the test and provide some back up to Sami Zayn. Or potentially join forces in Gable’s rumored new heel stable.

2. Erick Rowan

He was a member of the Wyatt Family alongside Braun Strowman and the late greats of Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper. Now it looks like the very talented Erick Rowan is finally coming back to WWE.
Something fans have been wishing for for years. Not only would he be incredible as part of a Wyatt Family Tribute stable, he is also a very capable singles wrestler.
When he came out of that dreadful Roman Reigns-Daniel Bryan storyline, it was him who looked the strongest in the ring and on the microphone.
Unfortunately, the old regime fumbled the bag, something not to be expected in the Triple H era. On top of that, he would not be the only former companion of Bray Wyatt that could be returning during the WWE Draft…

1. Matt Hardy

It appears that Matt Hardy is perhaps WWE-bound one more. To be more specific: Broken Matt Hardy is heavily speculated to be returning to WWE.
The WWE Draft could have Bo Dallas (Uncle Howdy), Matt Hardy, Alexa Bliss, Braun Strowman and Erick Rowan all come together as one big Wyatt Family.
He recently dropped a tease relating to Dallas’ much-rumored WWE return, so either he’s involved or he’s simply attempting to drum up extra interest as a free agent.
Hardy recently revealed discussions between himself and WWE, so perhaps it could all be leading to a big return in the near future?
Despite his age of 49, Hardy has gotten himself into impressive shape in recent months, so one last run may not be out the question – even if it isn’t in a full-time capacity.
His brother may be contracted to AEW still, but perhaps before long we see one half of the future Hall of Fame tandem back under WWE’s bright lights.
Whatever the WWE Draft brings, this year might be the most unpredictable one yet.
