The WWE WrestleMania 40 card is shaping up very nicely, however, there are still some big superstars glaringly absent.
Luckily we are still a few weeks out from the show of shows and WWE is not standing still.
Up and down the card talent is trying to get their spot at WrestleMania Night 1 or 2.
It is safe to say that the battle royal is going to take place at WrestleMania SmackDown, some other matches are way too big for that though.
So, with that said let’s look at six different bouts that could still end up taking place at the Grandest Stage of Them All.
6. WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: The Kabuki Warriors VS. The Way VS. Maxxine & Ivy Nile VS. Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark

This match is a result of three things: The champions do not have a title feud yet, a lot of female stars are not being featured on the card currently, and the Candice LeRae/Maxxine storyline is gaining traction.
With Baszler and Stark still being involved in the title picture, and The Way, Maxxine & Ivy Nile just having started their new storyline, this could be what all of these women need to justify a place on the card.
Also, a WrestleMania without Asuka would be a crime. So give them a nice showcase match where everyone could have some great action and tell their story.
I’ve gone conservative for this pick, but considering there are still many other teams on the roster this could very easily balloon in size.
This is especially true when you consider the size of the men’s Undisputed Tag Team Title match this year, but at the very least let’s get these four teams on the card for Philadelphia.

5. LWO VS. Legado Del Fantasma

This storyline is bound to culminate at WrestleMania.
Rey Mysterio, Zelina Vega, Carlito, Joaquin Wilde & Cruz Del Toro vs. Santos Escobar, Elektra Lopez, Humberto, Angel and a mystery partner would be an intriguing match for the show.
But who would fill up the 5th spot for Legado?
Maybe it is time for Dragon Lee to turn to the other side because two other Hispanic stars are probably going to be busy elsewhere on the card…

4. Dominik Mysterio VS. Andrade

Since Andrade returned to WWE, he has always been around Dominik Mysterio, with the two seemingly sharing some history together.
While this seems to be leading to The Judgment Day potentially attempting to recruit Andrade, that doesn’t seem like the best fit. So, instead perhaps this can lead to a one-on-one bout between the two instead?
With the majority of The Judgment Day already set for big WrestleMania matches (sorry JD), it’d be a shame to see Dom left out.
Similarly, Andrade failing to make the card in his first ‘Mania back in WWE would be a blow, so hopefully WWE can justify this match in the next few weeks.

3. The Final Testament VS. The Pride

It would be a true crime if Bobby Lashley ends up being left off the WrestleMania card yet again.
A nice six-man tag team match between himself, Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford vs. Karrion Kross & AOP should be the direction they are going.
The feud has been going on for what feels like quite a while now, but has yet to see a true pay off, with interference prevalent in numerous bouts.
So hopefully we get a long-awaited payoff and a massive WrestleMania moment for one of these factions.

2. Big E Meaty Men Invitational – Bronson Reed VS. Ivar VS. Otis VS. ???

This one is very much pie in the sky, but it’s also one that seems to have the backing of many big men still yet to be announced for WrestleMania 40.
In January, Big E proposed the idea of the Meaty Men Invitational in Philadelphia, with many of WWE’s biggest lads going at it to see who is the meatiest of them all.
This was idea was recently picked up by ‘Big’ Bronson Reed who took to Twitter to campaign for the match to happen, something that received the backing of fellow Raw stars Ivar and Otis.
This likely won’t happen, with all three far more likely to win up in the Andre The Giant Battle Royal instead, but you never know.

1. Bianca Belair, Naomi & Jade Cargill VS. Damage CTRL (Asuka, Kairi Sane & Dakota Kai)

If WWE don’t plan on having The Kabuki Warriors defend their Women’s Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania, then perhaps we can get this as a nice consolation prize.
When looking at the biggest names yet to receive a match at WrestleMania 40, there is perhaps none more glaring than Bianca Belair.
The EST has yet to appear at a WrestleMania where she hasn’t been involved in a world title match, yet this year she doesn’t have a clear path to Philadelphia.
A match with Jade Cargill was on the top of fans’ wish-lists but that doesn’t seem to be remotely on the cards right now, with Cargill still off TV. But perhaps there’s still a way to get both on ‘Mania in a logical fashion.
As seen in recent weeks on SmackDown, Belair still holds some hard feelings against Bayley – therefore was not in a rush to provide back-up when the Royal Rumble winner was being beaten down on SmackDown by Damage CTRL.
Despite this, Naomi was there and while she wasn’t successful she does seem down for the cause in taking down the group once and for all. But will Belair change her tune and help the fight?
It remains to be seen, but a trios match between Naomi, Belair and Cargill against Kairi Sane, Asuka & Dakota Kai would be a nice use of everyone involved. It would also probably be the most ideal way to ease the less-experienced Cargill into the fold.
