Here are seven TNA Wrestling stars that could be poised to leave the company in the near future.

7. Mike Santana

One potential departure from TNA Wrestling in the near future may be former TNA Wrestling World Champion Mike Santana.

After dropping the TNA World Championship to Frankie Kazarian due in no small part to an attack by the NXT invaders, Mike Santana has vowed revenge.

Taking on Kazarian in an attempt to reclaim the title at TNA Wrestling Genesis on January 17 from Dallas, Texas — it would seem the result will be telling regarding Santana’s future.

With the bout poised to headline the event which serves as TNA Wrestling’s debut on their new network partner, AMC — it would seem that Santana could be headed to WWE.

6. Mara Sade

When Mara Sade (fka Jakara Jackson in NXT) departed WWE, the compelling star vowed to not quit wrestling and soon signed to TNA Wrestling.

Making an impact in the division the former NXT star has already returned to the brand during the recent invasion storyline as well as teamed up with Matt and Jeff Hardy.

Potentially making a WWE return in the future, Sade could zip straight to the main roster where she certainly could have an awaiting storyline in 2026.

A TNA Wrestling name that has made a recent appearance on WWE is Matt Cardona.

Popping up during the Last Time Is Now tournament to determine John Cena’s final opponent in WWE, Cardona resurrected his Zack Ryder persona for a match against LA Knight.

Despite being a losing effort, the fan reception was incredible for Cardona and could signal that a return to the company could be in his future.

Certainly able to return WWE with a ready-made storyline with his real-life wife Chelsea Green and her AAA mixed tag team partner Ethan Page and beyond, Cardona would be a solid return to the main roster.

With their contracts with the company reportedly set to expire, it has been a popular fan theory that the Hardys could be making their way back to WWE.

Potentially set for their own farewell tour, it would make total sense to see Matt and Jeff Hardy part ways with TNA Wrestling — but perhaps after the debut of the new Thursday Night Impact on AMC.

Able to feature as an attraction to hook fans to tune in for the launch, it could be on that inaugural edition of Thursday Night Impact sees the Hardys written out of TNA Wrestling.

3. The IInspiration

After taking time off to start families, the duo of Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee are back in pro wrestling in a big way.

Reuniting on-screen in TNA Wrestling in 2025, the duo are also reportedly among those that are working with the brand without contracts at present.

With the TV ready characters, the pair could easily remain in TNA or take their spitfire personas elsewhere, including potentially back to WWE.

With the duo having been wildly entertaining during their initial run in WWE, hopefully the former Billie Kay and Peyton Royce make their returns to WWE sometime in 2026.

2. Cedric Alexander

Former WWE star Cedric Alexander

After being released from WWE back in February, Cedric Alexander took time to sign a short-term deal with TNA Wrestling in order to re-establish himself as a singles star.

While he continues to make appearances in TNA Wrestling, the veteran star is reportedly not under a current long-term contract.

The only member of the WWE stable The Hurt Business that has yet to make his way into the AEW stable The Hurt Syndicate — it could be that Cedric Alexander joins his former faction soon.

Potentially set to replace MVP as an active in-ring stablemate, the addition of Alexander could take the group to all new heights including capturing the AEW Trios Championship.

A potential departure from TNA Wrestling that could end in a swap to another major company might be AJ Francis.

Formerly known as Top Dolla in WWE, Francis has gone on to create a brand new identity for himself in TNA Wrestling that has endeared fans to the star and his stable.

While Francis likely has options, it could be that TNA Wrestling looks to secure him re-signing with the company with the new Thursday night show set to start on AMC.

Bringing a notable character combined with solid in-ring and mic work, it will be intriguing to see what 2026 might hold for AJ Francis.
