In two weeks Ring of Honor is returning to PPV with Death Before Dishonor.
It is going to be the first major event RoH since WrestleMania weekend’s Supercard of Honor.
Also, it is going to be the first event under the new RoH design.
With Tony Khan loving RoH stars while also being high on having surprises in store for the fans, Death Before Dishonor might have a few things in store for all of us.
Truth Martini
Truth Martini left Ring of Honor in 2016 after undergoing neck surgery. Therefore it is unlikely that he’d return in a wrestling capacity.
However, his best time in RoH came as the manager of Jay Lethal with whom he formed “The House of Truth”.
Lethal is currently accompanied by Satnam Singh and Sonjay Dutt and he will be wrestling Samoa Joe for the Ring of Honor World Television Championship at the show.
The Master of Hoopla could certainly add to the group and might form a new House of Truth with Jay Lethal as its champion.
Colt Cabana
Colt Cabana is a Ring of Honor legend and hasn’t appeared on television for a while.
On this week’s AEW Dynamite he was notably absent from the Dark Order segment and not mentioned despite still being with AEW.
His absence might be connected to backstage heat with his former friend CM Punk.
Or, what could also be the case, he is heavily involved in helping Tony Khan to relaunch Ring Of Honor.
Doug Williams
Doug Williams is one of the true legends of the industry. He has seen and done it all.
The Anarchist is currently one-half of the NWA World Tag Team Champions alongside Harry Smith.
Why not bring him for a guest run. There is so much to learn from one of England’s finest performers.
And not just that, at 49 years, the former RoH Pure Champion still has a lot left in the tank.
Sumie Sakai
Sakai became the inaugural Women of Honor Champion in 2018 and remained an asset to the company until last year.
With Ring of Honor’s women’s division currently still heavily relying on AEW talent, Sakai might be here to change that.
She has yet to win the Ring of Honor Women’s World Championship since it was introduced in 2020 and would be a worthy future challenger for Mercedes Martinez.
Homicide
Homicide might be one of the biggest legends in Ring of Honor history.
In 2021 he already worked for Tony Khan when he made a guest appearance on AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam.
It certainly does not seem impossible to bring the former RoH World Champion back.
Homicide just stole the show at NWA’s Alwayz Ready event by wrestling another RoH alumni, Colby Corino, in a fantastic match for his NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship.
Chris Hero
Samoa Joe, CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli.
These are the names of the men that made Ring of Honor a household promotion. RoH gained worldwide fame because of those four.
Well, not just those four. Castagnoli formed the team ‘Kings of Wrestling’ with another gentleman that was very vital in RoH’s history: Chris Hero.
In recent years he was wrestling in WWE under the name Kassius Ohno but hasn’t done much of note since then.
It seems like a no-brainer to bring him in. He must be one of the most requested names by everyone. RoH needs a hero.
