The rubber match between Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes at this year’s SummerSlam seems inevitable.
Although the third clash between the two has not officially been announced, it seems like a foregone conclusion.
While Cody took the first victory at Backlash, Brock was able to choke out Cody at Night Of Champions.
Therefore SummerSlam match calls for a defining stipulation.
Befitting of a Cody Rhodes feud, one match is already speculated to be in the mix as a possible stip…
Bull Rope Match

The Bull Rope already made a quick cameo during Cody’s match with Seth Rollins in last year’s Hell in A Cell.
As it is deeply rooted in the history of the Rhodes family, this only makes sense.
Brock might have a strength advantage here, but Cody comes in with the experience.

King Of The Road Match

The King Of The Road made its debut at WCW’s Uncensored pay-per-view in 1995.
It was basically a predecessor of the cinematic match, being mostly filmed on top of a truck.

Brock is a full-fledged cowboy these days and – in case you forgot – Cody is Dusty’s son. It only makes sense.

Fight Pit Match

If not a Rhodes match, how about a Lesnar match?
It is crazy to think that Brock never competed in the Fight Pit match, which is WWE’s closest style to MMA they have.
Brock, a former UFC Heavyweight Champion, might be interested to do one of these. In addition, Cody has already proven that he can survive in a huge unforgiving steel structure.
WWE has the chance to do something special with this one.

Two-Out-Of-Three Falls

Maybe one fall just is not enough. Both already beat each other.
Maybe the only definite way is to see who can survive the extra mile.
Both would have to go just a little bit deeper into their moveset, to achieve a second fall over the other in one match.
Strangely enough, Brock Lesnar never competed in a match type like this before. It is about time.
