Seth Rollins WWE Replacement

With Seth Rollins dealing with a legitimate injury, brand new WWE creative plans will need to come together quickly.

From choices that move The Vision in an entirely new direction to others that would keep fans engaged and guessing, there are several interesting possibilities for who could replace Seth Rollins in WWE during his absence

Here are six potential replacements in WWE for Seth Rollins.

6. Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch didn’t appear at WWE Crown Jewel 2025, nor on Raw two days later when Seth Rollins was attacked by Bron Breakker

She reacted to Breakker’s attack on Rollins by writing: “I’m gone for one week…”

In Rollins’ absence, Becky Lynch may feel the need to represent her husband and the address the situation with The Vision going forward.

Lynch will likely at least have to talk with Paul Heyman about what went down, and why it was allowed to happen.

5. Chris Jericho

While Chris Jericho is reportedly under contract with AEW through 2025, there is no reason why The Vision couldn’t adopt a mysterious new leader for a few weeks.

With The Vision left to largely run itself, Paul Heyman could remain attached to a mysterious benefactor on the phone calling the shots – allowing for plenty of fan interaction speculating about who would later be revealed.

A big reveal after an on-screen countdown reminiscent of Jericho’s original Y2J debut could be perfect.

Re-signing with WWE and immediately taking over as the top heel in the company could be an amazing way for the legendary Jericho to make his big return.

4. Bron Breakker

Whether it’s replacing Seth Rollins as the leader of The Vision or even as the next WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Bron Breakker might fit the bill.

Able to pick up the title on behalf of Rollins – potentially using Adam Pearce’s own precedents against him – Breakker could essentially seek to appoint himself World Heavyweight Champion.

Moving the heated rivalry to be between Breakker and CM Punk, the two could end up having an equally heated and vitriolic feud.

Setting the stage for a furious Rollins to seek revenge in the future, Breakker could end up capitalizing on this unique situation to rocket into superstardom.

3. Austin Theory

An intriguing name that has been brought up in relation to WWE Survivor Series ‘WarGames’, it could be that Austin Theory is poised for a return.

Although his exit from his A-Town Down Under tag team with Grayson Waller was sudden – with Waller stating in a backstage segment that Theory was injured and their team was done – there may have been a reason all along.

Potentially taking Theory away from storylines in order to bring him back as a new version of himself, Theory could return as a top heel that can shape the future of The Vision stable.

Wrestling Observer reported that Theory would be joining up with The Vision (Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed) and Brock Lesnar to make up the heel side of the men’s WarGames match, and while that isn’t the case anymore due to Rollins being out, Theory could still be brought back as part of the group.

2. GUNTHER

While GUNTHER has been out of action since WWE SummerSlam 2025, his return could be coming soon.

Possibly smelling blood in the water with an injured Seth Rollins, it would completely fit GUNTHER’s character to capitalize on Rollins’ misfortune.

Originally described on TV as being out of action “indefinitely”, it continues to be rumored that GUNTHER is likely to be John Cena’s final opponent in December, meaning the Ring General will need to return sooner rather than later.

Perhaps making a return to give it another go with CM Punk over the World Heavyweight Championship, it could be GUNTHER that ends up holding the title after Rollins.

1. Brock Lesnar

Paul Heyman may be looking for a new leader of The Vision who can ensure that the Brons stay in line – such as Brock Lesnar.

With reports stating that Lesnar was intially set to be in the upcoming Survivor Series WarGames match on the heel side, perhaps he is planned to reunite with Heyman soon.

Becoming the accidental new leader of The Vision, Lesnar would make it clear that he wouldn’t be incredibly invested in Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed’s success, but also wouldn’t attack them – at least for now.

Potentially setting up a massive showdown in the future for a returning Lesnar to face off against a babyface Bron Breakker, there could be very long term storytelling kicked off.
